Going to view this Hyundai Sonata, it’s a 2.0l CRDI making 148hp.
MOT history generally looks okay, slide 3 shows its most recent mot, just some cracked tyres not worried about that at all.
However slide 4 shows the failed MOT prior to that in December 2025 when it failed on a few things, most wear and tear but the one that stood out to me was the MIL Engine light.. what could this indicate?
I intend on asking on the day, what’s the type of response I should look out for?
Then on slide 5 it shows a number of good MOT’s a 3 without any advisories.
But then again on slide 6 that same Engine MIL pops back up in 2021.. could this be something as simple as a clogged DPF?
It hasn’t a V5 change in 6 years which is a good sign.
Any help would be appreciated!
Also should I pay the £12.95 for a full history check? Or is that a waste of money 😂
