  1. If you're unfamiliar with electric vehicles, simply choose the Hyundai 800V e-GMP platform electric vehicle. This electric vehicle boasts proven performance, reliability, and durability. No other electric vehicle yet surpasses the e-GMP platform.

  2. Volvo Cars (the passenger car brand, such as the XC90 and S60) was acquired by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, a Chinese company, in 2010.
Geely still holds a majority stake (around 78%), meaning Volvo Cars is effectively majority-owned by a Chinese compan
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 starts at around $60,000+.
The Volvo EX90 starts at around $78,000–$81,000.
👉 The EX90 is approximately $15,000–$20,000 more expensive than the Ioniq 9 at the base level.

  3. Zero FBT means any buyer in this market should get the EV9 single motor. Depending on tax bracket it’s a massive saving, equivalent to a $60k car from a cashflow perspective. I got an Earth below LCT and pay $1k per month and car will pay for residual.

  4. Hi Brett, How many drag runs do you do back to back to get the footage?
Have you had any EVs get unhappy with this treatment and start showing warnings on hot days?

  5. Would many of these crazy fast EVs be cheaper if they were a bit less crazy fast?
Smaller motors, less beefy drive components blah blah..
Same battery and go further? Admittedly I am an EV numptie but the laws of physics n all… 🤷‍♂

  6. Curious, wonder what range would you get if you just drag raced them like this all day?
Pushing 3 tonnes to sub 5 sec 100's takes a lot of power.
Sorta comical that these Griswold family trucksters can go this quick. Cool sure but comical nonetheless.
