  1. A problem with so many "modern" vehicles like this one is the glare on the screens where you can't read it in the sunlight. Not very smart. Wish they'd design something better. Looks ike a nice car overall though. Thanks for the review!

  2. Nice video this is the one I would buy for myself tons of features.I currently have a 2021 Sante Fe Calligraphy with the 2.5 turbo love the vehicle.Have 53;000 km with 0 issues😊

  3. We have the above model with the same color paint. Two things I wish Kia would add to the car. Auto door lock as you exit the car, we have that on our Tesla Model Y and my previous Nissan Pathfinder. Also, I wish that Kia moved the USB ports somewhere else, so that you had clear access to the charging pad in the center console.

  4. I've had this exact Sportage for nearly three months. I'm loving it. I also like the steering wheel especially for turning corners. Great car. Love the Wolf Grey colour also.

  5. Those taillights look very unsafe. When compared to the Pre-refresh, it has a separate amber turn signal. This combines both into one, which can cause a major accident. Also, that reverse light also looks very weird.

  6. Some of the best second row legroom of any vehicle in it's class. Similar to the Tucson, but much better than the new fast selling RAV4. Why did you guys rate the Tucson as 5 for rear seats, while the Sportage and RAV4 got 3.5?

  7. No auto dimming mirror is bs. Not crazy about the switching between audio/climate controls. I wasn’t sure about the shape of the steering wheel but it’s a non issue now.

  8. I have this exact car and have been getting great gas mileage. I’m in Wisconsin so relatively flat and cold and still get 40mpg driving around town or somewhat longer (50 mile) road trips. I think for the content and price, it’s hard to beat the Sportage hybrid. For those who dislike the highway drive assist, just don’t use it.

  9. My exact car! It would be almost perfect were the transmission not a clunker. And as others have noted, the driver assist can be too aggressive, especially if there are grooves in the pavement left over from construction or paving.

  10. Would be curious to have you guys come up to Canada and test the Sportage sold there which is assembled in South Korea unlike the USA model. There are some package differences but I keep hearing that the fur and finish are far superior on the Korean assembled models.

  11. Well, I have the 2026 SX Prestige (almost 4 months now) HDA2 is a piece of scary shit on long construction zones. If you let HDA2 automatically adjust the speed based on the speed limit signs it sees on the side of the highway, by setting the SCC to the highway speed limit, in Illinois where there is a truck speed limit sign 50 feet after the regular car speed limit sign, HDA2 will adjust the speed to the truck speed limit. In long construction zones, it reads the speed limit sign of 65, to 55 then to 45 mph and adjust the speed accordingly – then after a few seconds that it does not read another speed limit sign, it suddenly accelerates to the normal speed limit in that stretch of the highway! That really scared me,! In Illinois, it scared me too because the car speed limit is 70 and when it sees the 60 mph truck speed limit sign, it suddenly applies the brake to slow down to 60 – a situation for getting rear ended! In California where there are signs for towing trailers speed limit of 55 mph, HDA reads that too! When I had the 2023 X-Pro Prestige (I traded it in for this 2026), I sent an email to KIA Support to complain about these scary HDA issues but I guess they don’t listen to customer complaints! Maybe I should complain to the NTSB.

I have learned the scary way so I set the SCC 1 or 2 plus the speed limit and just pause the SCC when approaching a construction zone and negotiate the zone the old fashioned way.

  12. Getting the hang of dual function audio and climate control isn't a big deal, it can be learned in a day. The steering wheel is fantastic. I bought one this week.

  13. That dual sound and climate controls looks easy to use because for me I would keep it on the climate and only use the stereo once to set it up and that all. Because I would use the steering wheel volume controls and I do that now on my use car so yeah it that easy. 😂😅

  14. The off center Kia logo may not be your thing, but the actual button and switches on the steering wheel with the off center logo are easily the most user friendly they have ever made. It’s the same style as my 24 sonata, having a roller for volume and no gloss black buttons is the greatest.

  15. Our family has two identical vehicles to the one you drove. After 5500 and 3500 miles, we're averaging 38 and 40 mpg respectively. 90% of driving is in-town up to 45 MPH for both. Florida conditions with a/c being used majority of the time. Very happy with purchases. Highly recommend. Value for $$ can't be beat, as tech and safety features out-shine competitors. Hope this helps.
