Welcome back Jen ! I’m with you. Nice purchase.
Go back to the stock OEM 20 inch alloy wheels. As far as tires, with a new baby, a quiet ride is a priority. I’d go with the Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3, best non directional tire per Tire Rack and very reasonably priced too.
Oh noooo
Namib orange is sick. Congrats !
The turbodiesel was a better choice than the gas version. JMO
A woman makes a terrible vehicle choice?! SHOCKED. Just shocked 😅👍 Never happens.
Congrats on the new ride!
I used to sell Land Rovers. I can’t stand those and they were terrible sellers. They drive like trash too. Considerably worse than the rest of the line up.
Get the Grainger warranty you might need it.
Better send that husband to LR mechanic school ! Or find a boyfriend at the LR shop…
mommy
Congratulations on the greatest gift that one can receive, a beautiful baby. Regarding the Rover, I think of my buddy Bob, who back in 2012 bought one of the new Ford F150 FX four with the 20 inch wheels and Perelli Scorpion tires on it. I argued it didn’t make much sense having low profile tires on 20 inch wheels on a truck where we were headed up into the hunting country of Kansas, where I knew we would encounter deep snow, ice, and mud. The truck handled beautifully, and that was the year that Fort Worth Texas experienced an ice storm of biblical proportions. The truck handled it with aplomb. I was absolutely shocked, and to this day, I am a firm believer that not only did those tires and that wheel combination give my buddy excellent fuel economy and road handling manners, but for the 1% of the time that we spend off-road, they do an admirable job of handling the tasks they are given. 18 inch wheels and chunky tires would definitely be best best for off-road, but they would destroy the beautiful look of that fine machine, and I would make the argument that 20 inch wheels in combination with a nice road and off-road tire would be best, especially considering you want to consider your cargo and conditions getting dicey on icy highways at speed…
Glad to see you back on air again.
Congratulations on your new ride.
I knew it from the thumbnail it was a D5. Love my D5
Copperhead
I love it ! Great choice, especially the rear, yes specifically for that offset….enjoy it Jen …. Love how rare these are… Super deal
I hope it didn’t cost more that $5.00.
Wonderful to meet you the other day! Congrats on the D5 and of course your little girl 😊 can't wait to see more updates on Bernice! 😂
A really fun video! Great to see ya back. Such a practical vehicle. I just wish they had a better maintenance record but maybe the newish ones are getting better.
Great choice, I would have grabbed it too
This doesn’t rustle my feathers at all, but it’ll probably be causing yours to fall out. They are nice looking and theoretically quite capable.
It's great to have you back Jen! Ad i'm 100% sure you made a wonderfull decision to buy that Disco5, congratulations! And for you're baby too, so cute!
All the collective knowledge and experience in this crew, and you pick this shitbox for a stupid nameplate. Wow, terrible, vapid decision.
Yay for Jen!! I have a Disco 5 too and it's the perfect ride for me. Lux/Capable/Practical and it drives great. Here's to long healthy lives for our Rovers!
5th Gen 4runner was the correct answer.
19 inch wheels max! Glad you're back! Congratulations!
A refined sound have you even driven a modern diesel? I had a 2018 Dodge ram with a Cummins and it does not clack.
A regular yeah nice upright driving position until the suspension fails on you and you have to replace all of the air suspension. Honestly, it’s kind of hurting your guys’s reputation to keep pushing Land Rover so much I mean, I realize that you guys have a passion for it, but honestly, they are the worst mechanically reliable vehicle vehicles that you can buy maybe besides a Ford or a Nissan. I can promise you right now if you would’ve bought a Toyota Sequoia instead of that no matter how many miles or what year the difference was you would’ve been 10 times happier in five years from now.
Ant gone be able to enjoy it it’s gone spend most of its time in the shop
I ruled this SUV out for several reasons. I'm glad Jen is happy with her new ride.
Name it “Lift”. It will be giving you one, on one, or calling for one.
