£3500 car update! Ended up in the Swift.

Automobiles

About a week ago I asked whether to get a £1500 gen 1 Honda CRV or a £3750 Swift sport on a £3500 budget.

Ended up getting the Swift down to £3400 and ended up taking a train yesterday to Edinburgh to pick it up! On further inspection it looked the Droplinks needed to be swapped and it was missing a heat shield. Drove it back 340 miles including through some brilliant driving roads on the Scottish borders and drove most of the M6 back. Got 39mpg average which is WAY better than my old Volvo, and I wasn't being gentle on it for sure. It is quite bouncy with the coilovers, but Im young so my spine can handle it. Genuinely one of the best handling cars I've driven. It's insanely daft how much speed you can have through corners.
