This is the only car list I trust
Subaru Forester has a long way to go in design department. The interior are below basic standards. The seats are so thin. Can't they have a thicker foam like Mazda ? Redo the interior ? It will sell like cakes…
This Z generation will not touch Subaru…hear it Subaru ?
All the cars are antiques except for the Tesla Model Y. I have no idea why the Tesla Model 3 was not listed over the antique Toyota Camry. Camry gets horrible gaa mileage compared to the Model 3 as well as way too much maintenance compared to Model 3. Same can be said for the Honda Civic.
I have my Camry that she is perfect
Only BMW and Tesla were the good looking vehicles… the rest too ugly…
As a life long CR former subscriber, this is a perfect example of why they are not relevant in the age of the web.
I bought a 2026 Volvo XC90 B6 fully loaded with the amazing Bowers and Wilkins stereo
“WHAT A SHAME”, CR, IS NOW BEING PAID “BIG TIME” FOR THEIR RATINGS!!!
For families minivans are the best but there is no mention of minivans
A Break My Window X5?..bwahahha..a real shop queen..
lol – Tesla – now that’s funny. They are stopping production. Sales are laughable.
BMW and Ford?! No way…
OMG…this comment section. If you think CR has a bias towards certain vehicles, wait until I tell you about how other publications accept advertising from car companies. Just because Toyotas and Subarus are frequently recommended does not mean that CR is "biased." There is no causal relationship. That would be like accusing grocery stores being biased towards General Mills because they all sell (i.e. recommend) Cheerios. They sell it because it's one of the most popular cereals and it's one of the most popular cereals because it's good. And, like the tasty toasty oat cereal classic, EVERYONE likes the new Camry. It has a proven history of reliability and durability compared to other vehicles and so it gets recommended.
CR bases their recommendations on road tests done on cars that they either bought independently and anonymously from dealerships, or first drive impressions from rentals from the manufacturer. Whereas other car magazines frequently are basing their opinions on specific cars from automotive test fleets that are built and set up specifically to impress car journalists. And reliability predictions/designations are based on hundreds of thousands of survey responses. Don't get mad at CR for not recommending your favorite vehicle. Get mad at your vehicle's car company for not making a more reliable, better-driving vehicle.
Avg. $50k for a new car that tattles on your whereabouts, speed, and conversations while driving.
Thanks for the recommendations, Boomer Reports.
Honda Civic lacks AWD or 4WD, sadly.
I personally think Toyota is the only one that knows how to make a hybrid.
Don’t buy cars from the Nazi.
Do any of the auto reviewers own an EV? It certainly doesn't seem anyone there understands the advantages EV's have over ICE vehicles, even over hybrids.
Shill list. Ford and bmw… what a joke
Hmm. Something seems off with these car rating firms lately. One of the other big firms pushes Hyundai and Kia hard, and this firm doesn't even mention those and pushes Subaru hard. I notice the way these "Best of" videos are crafted, and I reject them. Nowadays virtually everyone on social media tries to influence people to their advantage, so effectively there's no truth value anymore.
No top sub compact car? Why
You seem to be Toyota biased to me
I don't like or want any of these cars 🤷♂
The F-150 is not a small pickup.
No mention of minivans at all😢
This is a biased and a very basic report. Only highlighting all well known car brands from years ! Where is 'MAZDA' ? and its not in your list – one of the best models in both sedan and SUV completely missing ????
“Great video! Wishing your channel continued growth and many more great videos for viewers to enjoy.”
Wait…you are recommending the Ford F150 Hybrid, inspite of it being one of the least reliable models sold in 2025???
WOW, soccer mom’s would love this list??
None are cool looking just sayin 🤷♀️
