  1. I bought 2025 X1 in spring last year, also top spec X28i, was 47k before tax at the time. Interesting to see the top spec is now 52k, 10% growth in just 9 months. I guess, the result of tariffs.

  2. Not a fan of the floating consoles and lack of buttons. Also the touchscreen it’s just a little too far up and you have to reach a bit. They need the idrive wheel back or they need to bring the screen closer to the driver.

  3. Am I the only person that hates those flat screens that aren't recessed? I don't mind digital displays, but those flush mounted flat screens are awful IMO. Nothing but glare

  4. BMW engines are pure trash; basically at this point they are a German Hyundai/Kia. Oil leaks, coolant leaks, even with perfect maintenance done by the BMW dealer! Trash…. Stick to MB or Audi; yeah they have issues but if you do the maintenance on them they'll last. BMW no matter what you do its garbage.

  5. The only other new suv that compares to the x1 m35i is the new Audi q3 its got 258horsepower and 278tq and it looks really nice they are saying 5.9 to 60mph! But not going lie I like it even though my 2025 x1 m35i fully loaded only has almost 8000 miles after 14 months, plus there's only one model for the q3! And it's 51,000$

  6. This review actually helped a lot. You pointed out the small stuff most people only notice after owning the car, like lumbar support, moonroof, and interior feel. No hype, just honest pros and cons. Makes it way easier to understand where the X1 really shines compared to the X3

  7. Like you said, with how ridiculous the price of new Rav4 is now it feels like just going up into a BMW/Audi/Merc isn't that much of a jump anymore.
