Is this the best version of the Porsche Macan EV?
eh … :/
Feels composed despite being 2.4 tons… well okay this will be true until about 100mph. After that you will feel every bit of that weight. Also the range, I don't know. I had a Taycan GTS on loan for a weekend from my Porsche dealer. Advertised range was something like 220 miles or maybe a little more. But this is presumably a sports car so you'd want to drive it like a sports car. At least I did anyway and the range was barely a 100 miles when you drive it like I would say my M3. Fine if you're in town but if you want to go out of town I don't know. I wouldn't want to deal with this. It's just viable as a product it claims to be (i.e. a sports car).
Showing the frrunk would have only taken 2 seconds.
I would expect it was never Porsches intention a Macan should sound like a GT3, but more like something suited for the Macan-family.
In my opinion, the sound can grow on you, just give it time😊
So ugly…🤮 The least macan was so much better
Make this a hybrid with the same body styling and these will fly out of the showroom
I'll just stick to a gas powered Porsche
Glad to see Porsche excelling at this. However I hate EV’s so I’d rather see a V8 under the bonnet 😊
The newest Skoda models have the same video game functionality 🎉
EV, the great equaliser of all manufacturers.
The design of these modern SUVs is just a desaster. The same is true for this Porsche.

368km range on full battery? You must be joking. My petrol 3 years old Cayenne makes 900 km on the full tank. Porsche needs to stop with this electric junk!
No they havent hit the sweet spot!…..an EV is never anywhere near it? Do decide if you are an enthusiasts Car channel or a marketing channel to push an EV narrarive!
Pass. Porsche severely over-estimated how many buyers would accept an EV-only Boxster and Macan. I know EU regulations are forcing ALL of their manufacturers to do unnatural (business killing) things, but Porsche's latest financials tell the story well. They'll need to QUICKLY bring back the ICE versions of the Boxster / Cayman and Macan if they hope to survive. Audi / VW is going through similar pain, although not as detrimental as Porsche. Ford just announced ANOTHER massive ($5B) loss on EVs, projecting another $4.5B for 2026 – the CEO finally admitting, "the customer has spoken" about EVs.
People initially wanted to try it out, but most recent studies are showing a significant number of EV owners now want to go back to ICE. Unless it's a 2nd or 3rd car, EVs don't have the convenience of ICE – long charge times, compatibility issues with chargers, range anxiety, higher depreciation rates, poor winter range, terrible towing impact on range, and the list goes on. EVs may be the future (perhaps with solid state batteries, much more mature infrastructure, etc.), but it's bleeding-edge technology at the moment. And considering that most buyers treat their cars as a utility, the inconveniences pile up quickly.
EVs doubtful future plus residuals NO THANKS will stick with my petrol version just now!
LOOKS A CHINESE EV 😬
Headlights look awful and a very dated design, EV £100K plus no doubt 🤔no thanks. Good reviewer wasted on this. 😴
The more I see car mags flogging EVs the less I want to watch them.
Still a craphole
I thought it was only available in that red colour but it seems that it’s got that Lugano blue colour as well! Looks great in either ngl
No.
Porsche……still the King 👑
Tinted headlights is an incredible idea with no possible downsides.
Downvoted for the use of that godawful Americanism 'frunk'. Porsches have had front boots for longer than most of us have been alive, but Elon Musk sticks one in the front of his car, gives it a stupid name (let's remember, a portmanteau of 'front' and 'TRUNK'), and now we have to change decades of our language and act as if it was that cretin Musk who invented the concept of a boot in the front of a car? This isn't America, please stop talking American – it's a front boot (or storage compartment, or whatever……. just not bloody 'frunk'!).
Porsche should've done with their Macan GTS what the Hyundai did with their Ioniq 5N (fake gear/engine noises aside). More and more, GTS feels like just a trim and preset equipment rather than an actual driving difference.
Zombie Macan.
jesus wept big oil enters the chat with every jeremy clarkson clone ever known to mankind. stfu and stop whinging petrol heads. suck it up. stick with your particulate spewing asthma creating dinosaurs and go elsewhere. bet you all think farage is an “intelligent “ man and just the tonic the country needs …. grrrrrrr
At $105k before adding a single option it will only appeal to the affluent car enthusiast.
anyone know what exterior color this Macan GTS is?
In a word no.
You can tell in the fist 10 seconds how this was going to go . No point watching till the end
who's excited for the Ferrari Luce like me.? Also I think trims are pretty useless in EVs. Maximum trims that make sense in an EV are two trips. Perhaps three if you're pushing it. But two is generally what wokrs. a usable daily with a signle motor and high performance with dual motors. Unless porsche plan on nickel and diming customers on the battery size, three or four trims sounds repititive on EVs
