The 2026 Mazda CX-90 Turbo S Premium Sport Is A BMW-Like SUV Without The Outrageous Price

Automobiles

The latest #MazdaCX90 continues to be one of the more enticing 3-row family SUV’s on the market, especially if you prefer a sport drive from behind-the-wheel. For 2026, #Mazda has refined the #CX90 with some updates to the transmission programing, a re-shuffling of trim levels including this new #CX90PremiumSport trim level, and more standard equipment. This model also remains the only mainstream family SUV available with a turbocharged Inline 6-cylinder engine giving this model the vibes of a #BMW.

  1. Some of us don't like your damn fingerprints and smudges all over the screen, and many of us drivers don't want other drivers taking their eyes off the road and on the damn screens to touch them JUST like a cell phone that in many states is "ILLEGAL" to use while driving.
People drive bad enough as it is, they don't need any help to be worse.
DUMB @$$ if someone is sitting in the 3rd row, DAH, don't slide the 2nd row seat back all the way.

  2. Literally every comment for the new CX-5 is to NOT use a touchscreen for everything. We don't want it! They're annoying to use, especially while driving, and are simply fingerprint magnets. It's perfect the way it is with buttons and dials

  3. In terms of value, the Cx-90 is the best midsize suv. It has real leather, great paint and it’s reliable (non-hybrids). I would say more reliable than Toyota and Lexus since they have major issues with their engines and electronics.

  4. You mentioned that Mazda putting a huge tablet style screen in the new CX-5 is what customers are asking for? I doubt it. Most customers will prefer consoles with buttons, having to reach over and mess with the damn screen just to adjust the climate is a huge inconvenience when driving. Who cares what competitors are doing. Mazda is unique and should continue to design their vehicles the Mazda way.

  5. As an owner of a cx90 turbo s premium plus. Don’t ever compare it to a bmx x5 or x7 it’s a Mazda for crying out loud it’s good looking. Lack the power of a bmw. It’s pretty slow when you consider the x5 has similar horsepower weights slightly less and runs a full second quicker 0-60mph and the base x7 weights 400 lbs more and is still a lot faster Mazda missed the mark on this it’s a pos

  6. Mazda OE wheels are very heavy. Those wheels are well over 40lbs each. Get lighter quality cast wheels from Tire Rack for less than OE wheels. They can sort wheels by weight on the website.

  7. My wife got a 2025 Turbo S Premium Plus, and she LOVES it. It's got every bell and whistle you could ask for, she drives quite a bit and she get 35 mpg on the highway, I think she's averaging about 28/29 mpg combined, and there's been no major issues with it. It's even pretty peppy in sport mode lol I think this car is underrated

  8. Would like to see Mazda give us more graphics to choose from for the digital dash. More space in the side of the doors and they have to get rid of the slight engine drone at higher RPM …car is super fun to drive….steering is very good……no offense but the Mazdas built in Japan are put together better. His front door sounded solid. Some Mazdas assembled in the US…don't have the same level of quality in certain aspects.

  9. These car reviewers love to complain. Most people, including myself, who own a Mazda prefer the dial without a touchscreen. Mazda needs to start listening to its customers, not to reviewers who don't own the car long-term. It's because of them the new CX-5 is ruined.
