  1. Drove this yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Power was more than I expected, particularly at highway speeds. Torquey and very responsive. Engine sound not the best though and I hate the shifter in these NX's.

  2. I won’t even look at a vehicle with run flat tires and no place to store a spare tire. Also turbo engines are terrible and direct injection engines are bad. Vehicles today are not being built to last today. But to fail. They are super expensive too. $70,00 to $85,000 in Canada. Prices are getting stupid and they are being built to fail today. Everyone should stop buying these poorly built / engineered vehicles. All forced on people because of stupid government standards.

  3. I wanted to purchase an NX but the seats do not go down enough for me to be comfortable. Same with the RX equipped with a sunroof. Long torso guys have it rough with Japanese vehicles.

  4. I don't consider that "luxury"…..not with that droning engine noise. I heard that same noise while test driving an RX 350 and found it inexcusable. My 2003 Camry XLE was more luxury, when new.

  5. Hi, i had a NX350h for 2 years before breaking the lease due to being completely fed up with the car. Just want to help in case anyone wanting this:

    1. Rear seat room is absolutely terrible. Honestly with small kids / medium kids anyone at all its just not a practical size and considering the exterior dimensions does not make sense.

    2. Sound noise and terrible engine. Driving to and from work wondering what I’m working so hard for if i’m going to save pennies on gas. Basically this40mpg engine didnt match my personal priorities in an engine. This was first hybrid but previous cars were all more reasonably powered gas german vehicles and one ev (Tesla). Underpowered and awkward powertrain

    3. Awd – power to the front and electric motor connected to back not in perfect sync. You realize if you floor it on slightly slippery surface

    4. Driver seat – the windshield is so raked towards your face that and the general cabin feels claustrophobic.

    5. Handling – After VW, Audi, Bmw, Land Rover, (sorry not showing off just fact), the handling dynamics suck/ were terribleand the final starw causing lease cancellation. One day going absolutely straight.. no swerving involved at all, I needed to slam on the brakes for an emergency stop. The car did notstop in a linear way and began swerving side to side. Without getting into mich detail, ive been driving 40 years – all sorts of driving, countless vehicles. This car failed that day. Dont want to imagine if a more elaborate manoeuvre was needed on a highway to avoid something thencar would be completely out of control. I only bought due to the global Lexus / Toyota worship/hype. I don’t recommend at all.

  6. i'm shocked they haven't updated the steering wheel. Some trims of the TX and RX have a new steering wheel with actual buttons for the cruise control

  7. I agree on your airball. Lexus shouldn’t be so stingy and give us those features as standard equipment. In fact, the Toyota Camry has the wireless charging pad as standard, and this Lexus does not. Hopefully when they refresh the NX they fix that, but tbh I don’t think they will

  8. Looks fantastic in that red! I had a NX loaner recently & may buy one in the future to replace my current white on red 2016 GS350 F-Sport. The NX has the best balance for me compared with both the UX & RX which I've also driven.

  9. *~*~1st Hand experience:….. I own this Vehicle LEXUS 450H+ "F" Sport 18K miles on it jusTest Drove drove a Porsche Macan 2023 ….hands down this vehicle is Quicker w/ Batt / Torque…Rides better w/ Adaptive Suspension, tighter in turns and MUCH smoother on fwy Nav Ssreen is far better @ 14' and better clarity LEXUS is Ultra quiet in Elec only % 47mi per charge ***& Uses REGULAR gas to 89 miles per gallon in Hybred….I added 4 3" " Carbon Tail pipes to existing Tail Pipes one on eeach s…FUBCTIONAL Adder Carbon Fiber Small rear top of lid wing &Carbon fiber spoiler w/ all carbon fiber interioer w RED Calipers CAR LQQKS Much bettewr thab a Porsche….We don't need no stink-en Badges…..TRUE Lunury is RELIABILITY and this has this in Spades!

  10. As a 2-car Lexus owner, I have two issues with the car: The CVT and I would prefer a more greenhouse design. I had a 350h for three days while my car was getting serviced. The CVT and claustrophobic-ness experience wasn't to my liking.

  11. I bought the 2024 Toyota Venza Limited (hybrid only SUV) and it saved thousands of dollars with similar options, a spare tire, quieter ride per Car Confections road noise ranking (55.8 vs 57.5 dB), more passenger room and larger cargo space. That is the reason Toyota stops importing the Venza and replacing it with a more expensive, less equipped Crown Insignia. Venza was competing well with the NX350h and beating it. Unless the badge and a slightly nicer interior are important to you. Venza is the better choice.
