  1. I feel like this is perfect for those moms and dads as a daily vehicle for going to their office work and the grocery stores, with enough capabilities that gives them a sense of escapism, but rarely take advantage of.

  2. So Subaru is getting the same vehicle but priced cheaper? Wow, that's nice. Toyota EVs don't have all the nerdy bits with data and advanced tech, but for those who want regular door handles, buttons, and nobs, and got Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, they got an EV for the average driver.

  3. why are we playing as if all these type of limited adventure vehicles make sense? some sort of false reality poser mindset has taken over.

  4. Am I the only one that don't want a wireless phone charger in my car? Could use that room for a lot more and oh yea a freakin glove box.

  5. With all the hype that has been public about the Rivian R2, I think the BZ Woodland may be a better option – particularly since it will actually be priced in the mid to upper $40s, and will have Toyota (or Subaru) quality built in. So I personally see this as selling well – not likely in the numbers of the Tesla Y, but perhaps in the 50K numbers. I also personally like the looks of a sporty wagon, that it has.

  6. Good review. Looks like a certified suburban runabout with some chops to get you to a hiking or mountain biking trail. I had to look up the press launch, I knew I recognized Ojai!

  7. I found the huge center console in the new Solterra really obstructs driver knee and foot room, so much so that the console partially blocks view of my right foot. The Solterra basically shares the same interior as the other Toyota and Subaru EVs. I think the side-by-side dual phone chargers create too much bulk in the center console.

  8. To me this would only work as a city car. Range is crap for long distance travel and a 30 minute charging. No thanks. Ill stick to hybrids with 450+ mile ranges and refill in 5 minutes.
