Where does it win? The soul! Couldnt agree more. The soul of the driver but also the car itself. It has a SOUL that the cookie-cutter sports grand tourers chasing 0-60 times and hard track-focused suspensions simply dont have. It is such a beautiful car, just like the SLK 55 from the last days of Mercedes's best era!!
I agree with you 100%, Lexus' V8s hit you with pure emotion through a calm execution. Not with sideways action or loud noises (pops and burbles), but with linearity. Nice review!
I have a 2018 in Atomic Silver (Performance/Dynamic Handling Pkg.) as my daily…since November of 2017. Have had over 10 BMW's in my time, a Porsche, a Ferrari and a Maserati Granturismo…NONE of which could compare to the build quality and materials of my LC. Just the plain truth!
Ordered one in December. In my later years I think this nice luxury cruiser is a good choice. Coming out of a GT53.
Amazing car. I have a 2023 convertible and driving it is like therapy. My younger brother reached out to me asking me about a "fun" car I would recommend in the 100k range. I recommended the LC and he said that he doesn't want to get what his older brother got and would rather get something different. He looked at the typical german turbo offerings and was not impressed by any of them. Then one day he and his wife went shopping and at the parking lot they saw an LC500. He was struck by how beautiful it looked and when he got closer, he realized that this is the Lexus i mentioned to him. He started doing his own research and than reached out to lexus dealers. No dealer in florida could take his order. He was finally able to get one that was coming to another state. It was on the ship on its way from japan when the original purchaser changed his mind. He now has his 2026 LC and loves it.

You’re SO right. This 26 inspiration vert is stunningly beautiful. I’m really torn…with the opportunity coming soon to trade my 22 nori green pearl / toasted caramel for this 26 model. Gonna be a tough decision for sure.

The best car ever.
Correction: Cargo space is 5.4 cubic feet in the coupe and less than 4 cubic feet in the vert. I was shocked when you said 7 and had to look it up because even just at a glance it didnt look remotely that much.
That said there's plenty of additional cargo space in the back seats. Nobody's putting a human there. I'll put my dogs there though! (Back seat not trunk lol.)
