You're giving people a bunch of BS advice! When you go to these insurance companies to get a quote they direct you to all the big insurance companies like Progressive Allstate geico. Pure rubbish advice
Where does usaa fall in?
They spend more money and time marketing their proeuct than actually making it a " win-win" situation for both themselves and the customer. This is the same crap that happened in the Pharmaceutical companies. Differnece is that no mater what is that the pharmaceutical companies make money and insurnace companies are not. Everytime I got quoted AMICA they where 2 times the cost. I have ERIE insurance and so far have been happy.
State specific insurance is USELESS if one isn't in that state.

I am researching now. I currently have Allstate. Have had Geico and Erie insurance in the past for both auto and home (have more than one property and multiple vehicles). Still feel paying too much in Maryland. It's exhausting. Want Home including Umbrella policy and full coverage for vehicles.
I was just looking for a video about why car insurance is now all of a sudden almost completely unaffordable. I'm basically a perfect driver and my insurance in the last 2 years went from $585 for an entire year to have comprehensive plus towing to now I was paying $908 every 6 months for bottom line liability. Just got my 6-month reinstatement fee and the damn thing has gone up another $30 I'm now paying $938 for 6 months worth of liability. Almost $200 a month why am I being punished like this?! And it's not one particular insurance company it's every single one of them in my area. They just keep blowing smoke up my caboose talking about how insurance is just going up across the board and this is what happens when you get older things get more expensive. No this is what happens when you're stealing from me and the law is allowing you to do so while allowing me to do nothing about it other than surrender my right to drive because I can no longer afford to. 😡
seems like the insurance prices have gone for the system of –give the best low rates to the new customers, & jack up the rates on the longtime customer ..
.. maybe the answer is to often shop around and probably switch insurance companies every couple years
I was in an accident so my six month premium at Geico, went up to $1,080.00. I called Amica and got a quote. They quoted me at $8,000 for six months.

RUnn from USAA just like many of us after a decade are doing just hit a deer and had a total loss claim on our only car Honda Oddessey touring just like many are Sewing them and willing over ACV total less rediculous low settlement payments based on their new scan con on how they determine your vehicles value with low comps.. it’s a con scam now. They only game me $3,700 for my van I had to replace the same thing just now with same mileage for $7,200 in the current market! RUN from USAA as many lawyers are even saying as welll!
There are many that are dropping their home insurance due to excessive cost, Now they are jacking up AUTO insurance to make up the difference, This Mandatory Auto Insurance is a SCAM. I recall when only rich people had Auto insurance, There were far less accidents, Auto emissions is another SCAM!
What about USAA?
