Ioniq 5 over model y 😂? Can’t be serious
I don't know who sponsored this video, but Hyundai and Ford SUVs are the best? Are you kidding me?
You clearly don't keep Hyundai/Kia vehicles more than a couple years.
Hyundai is pronounced Hyun-dae emphasizing y sound as in y sound in yup y-un, hY-un not hi but hyu like yup ! Hyun-dae 현대 ❤
and yes it should have been spelled Hyundae ❤
All trash
Disagree on the ionic 9 , that interior even on a upper trim is a fisher price ball pit of plastic , definitely go for the palisade hybrid , it also won't depreciate as much
Strange that they love the Civic Hybrid and not the Accord Hybrid when they have the same powertrain.
Public transport, self driving cars will take over limiting liability and overall road costs for governments
Complete garbage of a list! Only chose manufacturers with the most recalls or car fires! At Edmunds we choose the best cars until you sign on the dotted line, then it’s your problem!
All these cars are alarmingly F'd due to complexity, cost to own and depreciation. Where is my 1985 Accord SEi ?
I'd love to see this list revised for somewhere in the country that's been negative temperatures the past 6 weeks. This list seems a little out of touch with most of the rest of the country
A Honda beats a state of the art technological “super car” fighter model 3 for car of year? 😂 you guys are a joke!
Tesla for the win!!!!
Interesting to see the overlap between this list and Consumer Reports
You're not being paid off by Hyundai or Kia, you're being paid off by mechanics who are making $$$$$ repairing them.
I'm a Toyota fan boy and I was not surprised Ford Ranger won for midsize trunk. I driven the new Toyota Tacoma and it drives like crap with very cheap materials. It was also cramped and I'm not a big guy. Good to see my Camry SE AWD make the list. Finally the Camry takes the throne from the Accord for driver enthusiasts. Now Car and Driver needs to get on board with reality.
If you denied it, you supplied, it sounds like they're getting paid off by Hyundai, the worst car I've ever driven.
I find most Hyundai/kia products don’t wear well over time particularly the interiors, cabin noise, and suspension geometry. Creaks and rattles become plentiful, suspension is jerky and clunky, steering is incredibly numb, too many touch controls not enough analog, and resale is crap. Not to mention under warranty repairs are not easy to push through the dealers.
So many positive reviews about the Civic Hybrid, but I wish Honda either added more amenities to the top trim Civic or create an Integra version with these amenities. Instead they add them to the top trim Accord, with old nineties mindset that the Honda buyer will move from the Civic to the Accord as their family grows. This makes sense for a growing family back in the ministries, but the Civic size has grown such that is no need to move to the Accord or the Pilot. Add rear vents, lumbar support, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and maybe a higher stereo like ELS. I think there would also be a market for a top end sporty Civic Hybrid, on top of the amenities add the Type R steering system, adaptive suspension, brakes, and wider track, and charge accordingly.
For short-term leases, these short-term reviews are great. If you want to buy a vehicle and trust that it will be reliable for 10+ years, you might want to consider the premium Japanese models (Toyota, Honda, Subaru).
Why not mention price when going through the list?
Love seeing the comments here. At this point we all know people are gonna keep raging if they don't see toyota or honda on the list 😂😂
No MK8 GOLF R …what a joke of a picks.
"Nooooooo, we're not paid off…it's just a coincidence that virtually every good car/truck on sale today is made by Hyundai or Ford"
😆😂🤣 What a joke.
The 2027 Ram Dakota will take the Ford Rangers place lol✌️
How much did Hyundai pay you for this
Where are the minivans !?
Great video, actually quite agree with the list, Hyundai and Ford strong presence, missing maybe VW Golf R and Porsche 911 GTS .
Keep up with great work
Very nice 👌
What is this list? Overpriced appliances with horrible build quality?
Stopped watching 1:30 in when they say Hyundai great suv 😂.
Electric is dead. Bury it!
I have a new Santa Fe. My brother has a new Sorrento. I hate them. Bought them for three rows. Looked so great sitting there with no miles: Interior great, nice design. Info sparse, but acceptable. Body total Defender. Now, they have around 6000 miles, and looks like four year old and 40,000. Nothing holds up. Everything that looked good is wearing about 100x faster than in my BMWs. Plus, the body panels shrink and ripple when the temp is below 10F. And it has the worst engine in the industry. I'm trading it. It's junk. Favorite part? Go around a sweeper with assisted driving on with another car in the lane next to you about 30-50 ft ahead of you. the car slams on the brakes on the fwy. Totally dangerous. Just because the other car passed "in front" of the Santa Fe. Give me ANY BMW. The Koreans are not even…not even close. They skimp on every single thing.
How many of them are best in reliability? How about repairability? How many have transmission issues within 60k miles?
i think you’re getting paid off by hyundai
Unwatchable.
There is absolutely NO REASON for all the extremely distracting cutaways back to the announcer. It could – and should – be done entirely with voice over.
