@Dodge was certainly thinking outside the box when they introduced the 2024 #Dodge #Charger Daytona. Not only did it not have a V8, it didn’t even have an engine! Just electric motors for the world’s first EV muscle car. Well, we knew that was just the first chapter of the story, so let’s turn the page and scar around the track, breathing good ol’ petrol fumes, in the new Dodge Charger SIXPACK. #DodgeCharger

Almost the same weight as my 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie.
4800 lbs? My lord, I remember when fully loaded 7 passenger minivans and truck-based SUV's were the only vehicles that carried that much weight
A car with no bumpers!? Some scratches and a dent costs you $$$! Overweight computers on wheels. You'll be ripped off 3 times. When you buy. When you service/repair. When you sell. NO thanks!
45 years? Wow! I would have thought longer. I seem to remember MW for most of my 58 years. The thing John says that is like fingernails on a chalkboard is Stang! I am sure us Mustang fans all feel. Congrats John and MW. The first video Automotive Journalist.
That's one sad looking car. How they manage to make that from something as epic looking of a base as the charger, is insane.
Man I can’t wait till they put a Hemi on that beauty!👌🥰👍
I like some electric vehicles
Slate
Rivian
Lucid
But i think Dodge missed an opportunity doing the daytona
It shouldn't have been under the charger name. It should have been its own, and they should have kept the charger and challenger and the daytona and the 6pack as its own lineup
I want to 99.99% of all dealerships are scumbag sellers
It's too bad that every dealership that gets these going to sell them for over a hundred thousand dollars
Get rid of the digital screens, the computer chips and the mass surveillance networks, lower the price by $30,000 and then maybe I'm interested.
Other than that its a definite NO on EVERY single modern car made.
Its a no go.
Strong, powerful engine, but a heavy body is appealing
@1:23 Those were the dark years for Chrysler/ Dodge muscle cars
I hate that they didn't keep the cool front hood wing thing on the sixpack. That was like the one cool thing that car had going for it
A super B charger?
Needs a few inches in the rear. It looks like a hatchback 🚗
You are shilling for Dodge. You spent your time talking about the car. Not showing us the car. You can watch any Dodge commercials and get the same thing.
Ah yes. The Durango Coupe
This is the first unbiased review I’ve seen of this car. I’m Super excited to own one
I clicked to hear the voice, I heard the voice. I am at peace.
That 25% apr crowd 😂
I'll get crap for this: but his prescribed newsreader speak is annoying. no one talks like this. this is why Top Gear took off and MotorWeek didn't and never will.
If you make a Cuda Dodge please make it 4WD too 🤞👌💜
Can we all please take a moment to give John Davis the flowers he deserves?
He's been a part of my life as long as I can remember. Thank you, John, for your years and years of being our friend and voice of every car guy (person) in America!!
Wait for a V8 car…
4800 lbs?
Way to spin the worst dodge chargers in history! No v8 no muscle car.
Almost 5000 pounds without any electrification. Modern cars are unreasonably heavy, like that's insane!!
This car is garbage its already tanking in sales
Not to mention how it will do in reliability
I think they said 30lbs of boost this will be way worsr the. The lifter issue
If you think this car is fast, go back and watch the Motorweek review of the 2002 Corvette Z06. The number are almost identical. Amazing performance for a 24 year old car.
John we hope you live forever.
I like how you'll get to be constantly rebuilding the engine. Just like a real race car!
The design is ugly AF and good luck with that 6 cylinder musclecar.
Respectable times but will the engine last ?
nice
boo
I'm guessing the favorite pizza joint is Vinnie Van Go-go's.
Did I hear “4800 lbs.”??!! It’s a dang two door. That’s 300 lbs. heavier than my wife’s Honda Odyssey!! 😳
A lot of chemtrails
4800 lbs! I thought the power output of that I6 was going to make it king of the road compared to the Mustang, but a basic 460 hp GT from a few years ago would match that 0-60 run.
And when they said how much the Charger weighed it made sense. It's 800 lbs heavier than a Dark Horse! I could see it if the Mustang was tiny, or if the Charger was at least a PHEV. But it's gasoline powered.
As the years pass, we all add on some pounds, but this is over 300 lbs heavier than the previous generation Hellcat equipped SRT.
I never figured that a Mustang that weighs 200 lbs more than a Mercury Grand Marquis from the 80s would be considered "lithe", but by comparison to the new Charger…
That’s a big girl
Wow those panel gaps are all over the place!
4800 lb ?!?! WTF?….
This thing is a boat
Great looking car.Can I get in ugly primer grey too?
