  1. Respected Shari,
    2 questions.
    1) Cargo space more than Honda CRV Hybrid?
    2) Cabin sound, engine sound, road noise less than Honda CRV Hybrid?

  2. Unfortunately Subaru put the trashy tablet into their new Forester, who does that?! Unfortunately that is a deal killer until they update it with the unit that's in the outback.

  3. Outback and Forester front overhang increases with each iteration, it’s not only looks out proportion, functional not good for approach angle. Don’t know what’s blocking Subaru engineers doing better than this.

  4. You can see the Toyota influences by the ugly front ends. The interiors on the last series outback had a better dash layout, including the position of the info system. The center console looks cheap.

  5. We purchased the 26 Outback in the premium trim in December 2025 and have found it to be one of the most comfortable vehicles we have ever owned. The premium trim has the features we wanted, including heated seats, power rear door and even a spare tire which I missed in our Honda hybrid model. It does not include a moon roof which we never used and did not want. This is our first Subaru and must say the built quality is a step above the competition. Regarding fuel economy we are averaging 31 mpg which I will take all day long.

  6. Bought Touring XT last week. Fantastic. Had 2016 limited with the 2.5 engine, not Turbo. The car es very quiet and comfortable. I did test drive in Limited 2.5 and in Touring xt. I got the Turbo not so much for power, but is much quieter unless you punch it. Very little wind noise…i think because of double pane windows. Really like the camera views.

  7. I’ve seen after market accessory modules to install in order to bypass auto start/stop for i believe toyo highlander.. wondering if anything after market could work to bypass annoying pesky button 🤔

  8. Bought an XT Touring for me and a Premium for my daughter on New Years Eve. Never owned or drove a Subaru until the test drive. Was also shopping the Honda CRV, Toyota RAV 4 and Mazda CX5. I fell in love with this car on the test drive. So did my daughter. Extremely comfortable inside, drives like a dream and is so fun to drive. I am telling others I may never want another car. I don’t think you could do better for the price. This video hit all the points from the great tech to the enormous space in the trunk. The only thing I would want is a panoramic sunroof.

  9. I traded in my 2022 Mercedes GLC 300 for a 2026 Outback Touring XT and I have no regrets what so ever! The Subaru drives even smoother and just as quiet as the Mercedes and the Tech is so much simpler and all the latest safety features are included. I agree that this Outback is the car of the year! Thanks for your review!

  10. That thing is so ugly my eyes hurt. Loved the previous Outback look, and what the hell it that?!. It looks like a child made it from Lego bricks!.
Before you buy this cocroach wait for more off-road tests. The new Forester fails spectacularly, like it wasn't an AWD car at all.
