I like the Grand Cherokee but I would never pay that much for a Jeep. If the prices were between $30k-$55k I think they would sell a ton of these.
My 2024 grand will be my last ever jeep really screwed the pooch going to a single turbo 4 cylinder complete garbage not to mention the fact they come In dead last in consumer reports car ratings
Jeeps prices have gotten to the point that it's just insulting. Buy one that's used and a year old with less than 30k miles and you'll save yourself 25k right off the bat

The Grand Cherokee is a failure because of Jeep, First it was super expensive, Now after revising the prices no one wants a full size SUV with 2L $ Cylinders, Jeep should've offered the The Grand Cherokee with Hurricane I6.

The Grand Cherokee L has a tradition of being bigger on the outside than its competitors, but smaller on the inside. That was the case when I last shopped in 2022, and apparently it remains the case in 2026. How does Jeep do it? It's a reverse TARDIS!

They should have moved the 3L hurricane to this and had the HO versions in the larger wagoneers.
Jeep brand in trouble when your 20 something kids think they are lame and the ducks on the dash don't help.
Jeep needs to build a retro looking Cherokee that looks like it could go off road not another KIA like Ford did with the Bronco.

If I remember correctly, the pre refreshed engine had 6 trims, summit reserve is gone and now it’s just the summit but does the altitude and Overland still exist or are those just the sub variants of each of these trims? I’m shocked to see that this has a 4 cylinder in it, it’s not very common for jeep to put a 4 cylinder in their higher end models, I mean when the GC first got redesigned the hemi V8 was all the hype for this class, then we lost that and only had the V6. I find it strange tho that now only the base models get V6’s and the top trims don’t… then the 4 banger is complicated and it just sounds problematic coming from jeep 😭. The overall price structure the GC has is still a bit confusing, they could’ve kept the individuals trim levels, I feel like that would be easier to recognize than having different sub trim levels for the main ones.
But on this summit alone, it definitely does not compete with the normal 3 row class… it’s definitely in Infiniti QX60 and audi Q7 territory but it has the space of a BMW X7… it really is a oddly made vehicle in terms of what it competes with.
