  1. The problem is all manufacturer are trying to the same thing. It's like blending all colors together and making barely different hues of gray.
Mazda: quality materials, good handling, engaging drives, simple/reliable and buttons with good tactile feeling.
Mazda: don't be an appliance like Toyota or Honda.

  2. 7:33 Create your own company producing vehicles and make everything "soft touch" over there. Then and only then you won't be "quite surprised and disappointed"… WTF… you think they are stupid over there at Mazda and you are the smart one?

  3. As a truly loyal Mazda customer from Belgium for more than 30 years having had several models of Mazda, I am afraid Mazda has lost me with this model. Unbelievable. Hard plastics, looks and feels very cheap, no buttons, dangerous handling needed to change something on the screen and steering wheel, slow interactive voice responses – OMG, no, it's over and out. They went too far this time. A real mistake and killer for the inside. I will now look to Honda, as they seem to have kept a more conservative approach. Sorry, Mazda. Listen first to your customers rather than your engineers and financial institutions.

  4. The disappearance of physical climate, air conditioning, and audio controls, leaving only a screen, is, I believe, very impractical and will likely lead to problems over time. I think the price will drop significantly due to this manufacturing flaw, and we're talking about Chinese cars in general.

  5. I just know that people who complains about missing knob and big screen in this car are just here for complain. 90% of them don’t own Mazda and will never buy Mazda.

  6. Who "complained about the lack of big screen in cx5"???

Nobody why actually bought and drove a cx5? I want to drive a car, not watch a tv. I have a 2020 cx5 and love it… I guess I'll buy a used model to replace it. No buttons for HVAC and no rotary for the infotainment… Just stupid. I want eyes on the road, not on the screen. Really disappointing!!

Also why did they drop the tow rating? And the black gloss on the rear bumper will just get destroyed when you actually pull stuff into in the trunk?!
And then they got rid of the turbo engine and made the car bigger… Ok… So heavier car with same engine… That means less acceleration and I assume worse fuel economy. Why??
    These changes are really bizarre.

  7. Mazda is 10 years behind. They are doing what Honda and the Koreans did 10 years ago getting rid of volume and climate buttons, soft plastics.

  8. I was helping a friend on buying a car. She likes Subaru and not sure about Hybrid. So, I looked at the CX-5 because it would be something she would like. Then I saw the huge iPad screen and I believe you need to use the screen for some features. I crossed it off the list.
