In this video, we break down why car dealerships are struggling and how the Jaguar F-Pace, Maserati Grecale, and even the Tesla Cybertruck are sitting on lots for over 300 days.
📉 In this video, we cover:
– The Repo Crisis: Why car repossessions are hitting levels not seen since the Great Recession.
– Bankruptcy Alerts: The Tricolor Holdings bankruptcy and what it means for subprime auto loans.
– Bank Losses: How major lenders like JP Morgan Chase and Barclays are losing billions on bad car debt.
– The Luxury Glut: Why expensive EVs and luxury SUVs are unsold while affordable cars have disappeared.
– Market Correction: Why the car market crash 2026 is unavoidable and how to protect your credit.
– Buyer Strategy: Should you buy now or wait for year-end car deals and further price cuts?

The gentleman refers to the 2025 car buying market twice… it's likely an innocent mistake, but I'm suprised that he hasn't noted it (e.g. in a comment here).
Just want a basic reliable vehicle …. keep your computer screens and creature comfort nonsense.
I don't think some of your views are 100% accurate. I have been to dealers who have been holding cars for 200-320 days and they are very unwilling to give discounts. The problem is the manufacturer is the one offering incentives like cash off or 0% interest. That is leaving the dealers feeling smug that they do not have to lower their price because the manufacturer is taking the hit for them. This is especially true in Florida where a dealer discount is eaten up by dealer fees. Thus, your really not getting a discount.
I wouldn’t trade my 2022 Prius for a brand new Tesla truck on an even trade!
It's both cars and houses having selling issues.
Is beginning to dissolve
Illegals flooded the usa and bought lots of cars.now sales are down since the illegals are being shipped out
Driving my 2004 Ford F-150 with 160K miles which I bought for $3K 3.5 years ago feels so justified. And yes A/C works too.
i dont wont a flaming tv screen in my car which seems to be getting bigger
Who needs a new car? Old cars rule!! Yehaw!
When I replace one of my vehicles later this year, I’m going to be getting a used car for cash. No credit, no interest.
Thanks Ford! U dropped the fusion years ago then the edge and now the Escape! Oh and u cry about buying so called American made ha. Ur more foreign than Honda and others. Didn’t make enough money on the smaller vehicles that millions drove! Cyaaaa!
Subaru just eliminated their outback base model entirely. You have to start at a premium which is over $41,000 MSRP…. For a Subaru.🤬
Accounting department is deciding how cheap to build for most inflated prices it can sell for.
Hybrid cars have faulty CVT transmissions that cost owners money to save money on gas. Repair and replace costs for items that lasted thousands of miles in the past might last to the second oil change. Way too much tech is in control.
Im not believing till he puts 10 grand down on that bet!!!! I know bullshit in a bottle….it starts with no $$$$$ to lose .
So, was it the unelected EPA and the clowns inserted by the Dumbassocrat party that put unattainable mileage and emission standards that raised the cost of a vehicle by tens of thousands of dollars? Then the reliability from the emission controls made a used vehicle a ticking time bomb and then the motors are lucky to run for 150000 miles. Leave it to a Dumbassocrats to mess up everything. Cash for clunkers did nothing but destroy for the used vehicle market, increase the National debt, and now the poor people can not have reliable transportation to get to and from work with the car that the neighborhood mechanic could work on and replace parts cheap enough for their budgets. So how much waste and landfill space did we save when a car sold today is lucky to make 150,000 miles versus the old cars with no emission controls that would go for 300,000 miles with basic, recommended preventive maintenance practices? Dumbassocrats are dumb.
This is what happens when you reward failing car companies with bailouts, they continue to fail.
You made some very good points and observations. Thank you. I personally will not buy a car that has all the buttons on a touchscreen. I don’t have time to do pulldown menus while I am driving. It is even got to the point where you need to use the computer screen to open your glove box.
Let's place this idea to the car makers. Between $20,000.00 – $30,000.00 CAD…….next, an updated warranty…..like a 10/15 thousand Kilometers (LOL) to correct the poor quality and restrictive maintenance we currently have. Yes I know just dreaming but don't expect me to pay prices on current vehicles and level of quality.
Some of the dealers deserve it for being greedy.
Do people talk in their nature voice anymore 🤔 this guy is horrible, the information is helpful not the narrator, please help us😂
Jeep 4xe hybrid models 😂😂😂😂🔥Jeeps solution don’t charge your truck and if you do make sure your far away from your home or other cars! Pathetic 70 k plus trucks!
This will not be the same as 2008.
This time there will not be a government bail out so buckle up!
Maybe we have reached “peak greed” on the part of the car companies and all related industries.
In Canada there is still a weird cultural aberration of men feeling compelled to spend huge amounts on buying and/or fixing up pick up trucks. These buyers are typically on the wrong side of the k-shaped curve. Somebody, please tell these guys that tricked-out pickup trucks are about as cool as platform heels for men.
It would be righteous to see dealership owners in the soup line.
I can’t believe 26k people bought that stupid cyber truck last year 😂🤣😂🤣
They need cars again!!!! More profit in SUVs
My dad use to buy a new car every five years never had to take them back to the dealer for recalls or anything
Two thousand eight all over again
$1,000 car payments and $50,000 average new car prices are terrible, and ultimately unsustainable.
The wheels fell off my "COMPTERMOBILE". Plastic lug nuts decrease the weight of the car and thus increases fuel efficiency.
But oems are also not producing affordable cars, so most new car buyers will be purchasing used, which will inflate used prices even higher and keep new car prices far too high, but a few thousand less. Nobody cares if an 80k car becomes 70k. They cant afford that anyway. They need a 30k quality care that can be repaired without a dealer and without subscriptions that is ICE. This is not happening. The oems hate you and still only care about EVs longterm, with expensive complex hevs to bridge the gap.
Ford mustang NOW wont let you upgrade the cars ECU without it reverting back to stock automatically returns with updates big brother watching
Eventually they will just rent the cars and you won’t even be able to buy one.
I am so happy to see the car industry collapse! The dealers and manufacturer’s unbridled greed have raised vehicle prices to absurd levels. I for one refuse to buy any new vehicle. Vehicle prices need to be cut in half and there needs to be vehicle priced in the teens again!
Ive been seeing that prices are going down for the last 3 or 4 years and haven't yet.
You are making great videos and educating car buyers, in the future videos if you could include advice for cash buyers as part of the segment that would be great!
I have the money i just dont want all this bs tech
Not just price 2 things are wrong Price is one and the other is Quality of new cars. Who would want one
You didn't mention that Tricolor made a majority of loans to ILLEGALS. Many of those buyers left the country….some of them taking their cars with them. Also, the company was allegedly creating multiple loans on the SAME CAR — the collateral.
You sure brought out the haters. 50 years ago cars needed much more repair. Today's cars have better bearings, joints, lubricants, precision, power and brakes. I haven't had a breakdown in 30 years whereas in the old days it was always something and 100k was end of life.
Plenty of good quality Chinese ev products , well priced, just sitting at Mexico/Canada borders, schadenfreude Yankees.
This could have been about real estste, only desperate realtors talk of 'bargains'.
Dealers got exactly what they deserved. I don’t feel sorry for they can go out of business for all I care.
Buy only what you can afford to buy cash and stick with it while you save for a better one and so on until you have a decent car that you own. Don't borrow money unless you have to just to survive. My first car, bought in 1973 cost around $100. I now drive a Mercedes SUV I bought cash and have never financed a car.
We need anti subprime auto lending legislation before it’s too late. I talk about this on my channel.
