  1. 100% agree about the front bumper. The more i see it the more i like it 😆 3 months owner here 🤙🏻 changed my tires to Conti UC7 within 3 weeks of owning it, handling improves a lot (expected outcome but still). One thing i dislike the most is the lack of cabin light at the back.. i know, entry sedan and all but damn i struggle almost every time i reached home at night trying to get my things from back seat/shoes on the floor. Having drive Saga BLM for the past 15-17 years, I'm satisfied enough with MC3!

  2. Yes, I’ve been driving this car for 2 months already with no issues. The only thing is the seat feels a bit high for me cause I’m 176 cm. But for a 50K budget first car, you can’t expect everything to be perfect, right? We just learn to live with it haha. I think it’s totally worth it! Btw Congrats Hafriz, great explanation. Keep up the good work!

  4. Power window, how long it would actually last? Not an issue! my Saga BLM's bought in 2009 power window still works! well, i only need to replace the inner glass mould once on the driver side, other than that, the grunting n the snap Hafiz was on point.

So you called out Proton for calling this an all-new platform when it is heavily modified platform (justified since its not all new) but when it comes to the Perodua QVe, you guys just regurgitated the in-house development claim when they clearly said they had inputs from an external engineering giant, building an EV platform in just 2 year, something even giants like Volkswagen and Toyota had problems doing, and Tesla took years to make right, while investing like a fraction of their cost (800 million myr vs the billions of USD other companies do).

  7. Hopefully Chery will CKD Arizzio 5 to Malaysia.. Getting Bored of outdated Sage & Bezza models already. Better Gomen banished the NAP Policy that has long endangered the safety of Rakyat with dangerous cheap vehicle selling at premium prices.

  8. Agreed.. CVT punch was the deal breaker for me. i did drive the old version and didn't like the cvt feel. I really hope that proton put 5AT for the higher spec instead of CVT.

    And do some front and lower back design improvements. I see in TT someone paint the black part in at the back bumper and its look wat better then the original one 😅

    And last i really hope they install a dashboard and panel cluster like the normal car, cause its give you flexibility in case your radio broke or you want upgrade the sound system.

  10. That CVT still in the offer because the agreement between proton & punch. Kira mcm nak kasi clear la. Pro tip, those who mostly drive in urban or many start stop can choose CVT, the lower end power delivery is good but out of puff at higher end.

  12. Later batch owner here! The AC issue has been fixed which is great. The overly light steering and questionable ride is fixed via a simple tyre change and better alignment. I feel like this Saga should have 195/55R15 tyres instead, rather than the 185s. It feels like Proton has "undone" it's ride and handling with cheapo tyres.
    A switch to Pirellis with 195/55 solved the ride and handling issues completely.

    The light steering caught me off guard at first, but during the jams and urban town work during CNY, I found it to be an absolute lifesaver considering I did almost 2000KMs for CNY alone.

    Originally booked the 4AT, but I couldn't argue with 4 airbags. And the CVT I'm used to since I drive manuals day by day. Also the cvt's extra pickup and go is good to have especially when going uphill. Genting was a breeze in this car!

  15. the front of the saga really grew on me. i got highbeamed from behind by an mc3 on the highway at night the other day. but because it was still quite far behind, i genuinely thought it was an old passat.
