Jeep is finally re-entering the industry’s hottest segment with the 2026 Cherokee. Now hybrid-only like the sales king, the Toyota RAV4, this new powertrain from Stellantis is a surprising breath of fresh air, as are the efforts made in the cabin to give it a higher quality feel. #KBB

excellent for a base trim
Where is Mike
Nice to see a review of a base trim.
looks good but is it reliable
Please be sure to come to Japan. I'm waiting for you. I really want XJ, but I don't have the confidence to maintain it. However, when I saw the 2026 Cherokee, I was excited.😂
I looked up its performance and (I know it’s not a sports car) and found out it can be a slow 9.0 sec to 60 and 7.5? So what is it ? ……. I do like the design tho.
Where’s Micah??
Shutting down an offroad course because of rain does not instill confidence at all. Makes me think this jeep cant jeep.
Wait what? It was raining so they wouldn’t let the Jeep (an off road vehicle) on the obstacle course. Good to know there is confidence in it’s ability.
CVT and hybrid. I don't want either.
Jeep should do what Mazda did …Partner with TOYOTA for their hybrid system cause I cannot trust anything Stellantis makes especially when it comes to electronic systems
KBB has lost its way ! I have noticed even with Lynn and Mike they are no longer two bubbly presenters the team once was. Bringing back Micah would be a step in the right direction. This presenter just doesn't have much personality he just spews off the information.
Not really something special from Jeep. The whole Stelantis Gorup is really made a back step in car development, hope to see Jeep and other iconic brands under Stelantis getting back to old glory. Jeep needs to make Cherokee Trailhawk 🤟🤟
KBB got rid of Micah for this guy?
It got even worse, they need to go back to the XJ.
How do you get the heated steering wheel
Id still take the 2023 version.
The name "JEEP" applies to vehicles that have abilities to go off road. The original Cherokee was that vehicle. Now, for the second time, Jeep is just launching another stupid crossover with the name of an ICON. Pathetic. The only true "JEEP"s are Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer. Honda has done this with the Passport(rebadged Pilot), Chevrolet has done it with the Blazer(rebadged Equinox), Ford with the Bronco(rebadged Escape). Pathetic…They speak of fuel mileage. I am on my second JGC Summit 5.7ltr Hemi, Just returned from a trip where the whole trip averaged 25mpg. Range is over 600 miles from fillup. I will gladly trade 10mpg to have a capable vehicle on and offroad…
unfortunately, this will be filling out rental fleet parking lots
The car industry needs to get away from dark headliners. It makes the interiors seem smaller than what they already are. I would love to see no more carpeting also, how about a nice textured vinyl/rubber flooring so we don't have to get floor mats.
Excellent review!😸
Stellantis has some of the worst long term reliability and initial product quality in the industry. Dumpster fire. Jeeps are champagne priced, but Soviet era imported vodka product quality.
brand new Jeep hybrid? You can already guess the reliability
It's always questionable to buy a Stellantis product. It looks nice, though.
Rav4, CRV Hybrids are better and cheaper… and..RELIABLE.
This is one UGLY vehicle!
I would rather have a 1987 S-10 Chevy Blazer than these new cars lol
