#lexus #SUV #review

As Nathan would say, the glue holding Roman's toupee on must have been working overtime! Jokes aside, good job on the review, as always.
I might cross shop them in 10 years so this works.
To answer your question. No, it is not worth $44K more.
Lexus is good car but design 😂😂😂😂maybe BYD DENZA N9 or Nissan Patrol design better than Lexus and Land Cruiser also
ILL KEEP MY gx460
Are the large SUVs in the video with us? Both of these are more mid size than anything
Can’t trust that engine…
Too bad the LX overtrail is hybrid only, what a shame. Could have been such a cool car.
LX then 74weld portals and 38” tires
Love the GX, lx too big for my liking
Let’s be real. Most people who buy either of these platforms aren’t squeezing through narrow trails. More likely that they hit a curb and call that offroading.
“Squirt” 😂😂
I love the rounded edges on the LX, looks great.
I cannot take this seriously when the one host said you can buy a Land Cruiser as the down market option. Not in the US. I am done.
Both are amazing vehicles, one is a proper off roader and the other one is a luxo barge that can traverse anything.
I generally don't buy used vehicles, but I would buy a used Toyota/Lexus. I'll be looking for one of these used in a few years.
Been hanging out on BaT looking at both GX and LX. The used GX seems to be going for more money than a similar LX. I would def pick the GX. Of course, I don't need the 3rd row at all. Thanks for the windy video.
Lexus grills make me spit up in my mouth a little bit, but I can almost give a pass to the GX.
It's simple, the LX is too expensive not to mention uglier than the GX. That's why one model is sold out with a waitlist and the other isn't
LX is no good for me. Headroom is so bad. It is a big SUV but small headroom. I don't get that. My head nearly touches the ceiling. The salesman was surprised too.
I would choose the GX and use the money I saved to get a used v8 GX460
Love the G Runner… 👍
Tommy talks too much sometimes.
Aren’t these under a massive recall?
The LX is so small on the inside and has such a tiny boot that i completely am no longer considering it.
My GX OT+ has been a great vehicle. I've used it in the mud for work and off-road for fun. Performed flawlessly. Taken it on longer road trips and it's been confortable and roomy. Haven't missed the third row for us as empty nesters. Gotten as good as 20 mpg, but has settled in at 17.5 average.
I think the gx looks better
America is only focused on itself and Israel’s interests
Was waiting on your take on global issues
the LX interior is weird… the top screen, above the screen seems like they forgot a larger screen in the design and the solution was to add a bigger screen on top. Looks strange
I’d get another car with the extra 44k
I would go for the Nissan Armada pro 4X. Cheaper, more usable third row and more cargo capacity.
Love to see the dynamics between father and son. Envy you guys.
Mammoth is the best!!! Happy to see the TFL crew visit Mammoth!
What about the fact you can put a auxiliary fuel tank on the lx without getting rid of your spare tire and drive long distances
I think Lexus picking the same color for their SUVs as duct tape was a bold move.
it's brown….not beige.
The screen in the LX is a total afterthought. Terrible visual integration. Lazy and unacceptable. The cargo situation with the hybrid is really bad.
Both ugly, I buy the Toyota…
I'll take the $120k and buy a 200 series, drop $30k on offroad goodies; import a diesel 73 series and enough fuel for the next 5+ years. All with the best Reliability on the road/tracks.
I will keep my gx460!
Hundreds of thousands of those engines have been recalled. They should have stuck with the 460.
The Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus GX are huge hits, combining for over 100k US sales in 2025
