  1. Would you say 41,700 out the door price is good for a XLE premium version right now? Thatโ€™s an offer I have from the dealership currently

  2. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ looking at the new rav4 for my son. For an LE It has a lot of standard options. Safety 4.0 features is many. He can drive the rav4 for decades. Nice Review!

  3. debating between a 2026 RAV4 LE AWD vs 2026 Suburu Forester Premium.. forester will be few thousands cheaper. I plan to do A LOT of roadtrips with one of these cars. I do go ski a lot in winter, but I've been fine with my FWD car without winter tire so far (I did get stuck a few time but was able to get out with chain). So I'm not sure if forester's AWD is really necessary. Maybe Rav4's AWD is enough? Maybe the Rav4's superior MPG can outweight the benefits of forester's AWD? I don't go offroad in the mud at all. I only drive thru snowy towns when I go ski on my winter roadtrip.

  4. MEH, clearly toyota is still in cost cutting mode and yet cranking price some. For less money you can get a 2 year old forester with fantastic awd system, not hybrid, but MUCH nicer interior.

  5. Wait, how could you review the AWD system (compared to Mazda and Subaru) with the FWD version on a dry day with no traction issues?

  6. That LE looks almost identical to the '26 Limited I test drove yesterday and is $12,000 less! I can't believe that the Limited still has rock-hard plastics on the upper dash and on those odd door handles. Door looks and feels like a kids toy. Satisfactory at $35,000 (at least on a Toyota), not so much at $47,000. And the entire drivetrain is identical as well! Typically when you go up by 5 figures in a trim level of the same vehicle you would at least get some substantive change in the powertrain or other major component. At least with the PHEV you get 90 more horsepower and like 25 more mpgs average! I average 65 mpgs over 20,000 miles on my Prime and the interior feels more lux than any of the new Ravs.

  7. That is one ugly car. What did Toyota do to the front ? Looks like the drain in my kitchen sink. Priced kind of high for the way interior looks.

  8. Disappointed the new RAV4 is hybrid only. We want CHOICE! Not being forced to buy EVโ€™s or hybrids. I bought a 25 RAV4 non-hybrid and itโ€™ll be the last RAV4 I own
