  1. suzuki is the best wow they really went all out on this one and the price is also within range for some of us who want SUVs on a low budget

  2. I really like your content, Greg. You are a top-notch South African creator and reviewer. Please keep it up! I really like how honest you are whether you’re in a Merc or Lexus or Suzuki. I was so chuffed to get this notification as I’ve been eyeing out this new Suzuki.

  3. Great pricing. Great package. Now one year later bring the current Toyota RAV4 2.5l HEV AWD GX-R clone to South Africa at 600k and call it the Suzuki Grand Across. I'll buy that over any Chinese model car because I know I'm buying reliability and durability.

  4. These auto manufacturers brandings are confusing. This looks like the electric version of the hyryder and I thought the Across was the spin-off of the Rav4.😂

  5. It isn't a hybrid though. It's a mild hybrid. There's a big difference. They're very sneaky adding a hybrid badge when it isn't close to being an actual hybrid.

  6. The one thing I noticed was that there was a terrible blind spot behind the driver. The rear windscreen looks very small. I realise your camera was on the dashboard but still, there definitely appears to be a blind spot from the drivers position. Otherwise its a cool little SUV, and it'll most likely be cheaper than its Toyota cousin! Drive safe!

  7. This thing will have a long waiting list just as the Fronx did. The flippers will be very active.

Add in the turbo engine from the Swift Sport and it would be a winner. That would make highway cruising an absolute pleasure

  8. I said it, and I will say it again. For each of these, I will always choose the SUZUKI over the TOYOTA sibling. By the way, is there even going to be a TOYOTA of this version?

  9. Rear and side view is reminiscent of the old 99 Kia sportage shape in a weird way. Moving forward a little in design but still not really. It just looks a bit awkward

  10. Engine too weak for this size car and the entry level will sell well but the glx at R460k has many competitors that is better. They should have made the top level one around R415k-R430k . Now the gap is almost R100k between top of the range and second, not a easy upsell.

  11. The design is mediocre. The grand vitara makes more of an impression with its bolder dimensions esp in glx spec. They haven't done enough with the design for ppl to upgrade. The rear looks like it's trying to be a budget Mitsubishi but meh. It's just the interior and features that's a winner here for Suzuki. Albeit would be Interesting to test drive one though to see if it's a real upgrade esp that it's now with a new engine and geabox

  12. Very decent styling, aggressive pricing. I think this is gonna fly off the shelves. All Suzuki Brezza/Grand Vitara owners will be upgrading to this, I think. Good value 👌🏽

  13. Hai they really need to work on these blocky interiors, they can honestly do better in that department. They make the car look like it has a 2016 interior. But the car as a whole is nice.
