  1. Just bought a 2026 sapphire blue wrx gt. Honestly am in love with it. Never owned a wrx before. My buddy had a 2017 or 2018 tangerine sti and i wanted one ever since even tho mine isnt the sti.

  2. Never owned a Suby in my life, and my DD is a 2023 G70 3.3T Sport prestige with Nappa Leather and alcantara which is a highly praised interior and I have to say this WRX has a VERY cool interior and is a great looking car (If you are into the rally car look) for $37k

  3. The plugs aren’t that hard to replace. I did them in my wrx and I didn’t even have a spark plug socket. I just used a regular deep socket and was able to reach them. You do have to loosen/remove a couple things for access. But it’s not difficult. It’s also super easy to change the oil and filter. Great cars, just sad that premium fuel is now around 5/gallon near me.

  4. I just leased a Limited trim WRX in the Sapphire Blue. If you shop around here in the NE, I've seen the Premium trim (w/HK speakers and moonroof upgrade) advertised in the low $34,000's. Without that upgrade, I've seen the price just under $32,000. No question, the price has come down from last year. The notchy shifting and a nice weighted clutch is ultimately what sold me. I have test driven the C-GR, Civic SI, Integra, Elantra N, and the Mazda 3. But I simply felt most at home (drivability) in the WRX. Mazda 3 had the nicest interior. C-GR had the cheapest, although shift feel was close to the WRX. Can't beat the road-holding 4 wheel drive in the WRX.

  5. You think a 6.9 is on par to a Civic Type R? Or even close on a roll? Have you ever driven the FL5? It's nowhere near. It's down 40-50 whp and up 240+ lbs.

  6. WRX are finished in the Japanese market. Ceasing production for their local markets. Export markets will still get Japanese made WRX, but none domestically.

  7. I've heard symmetrical AWD one time too many. I owned an AWD car with a traverse engine and a WRX. The other car had more traction and handled better than the WRX.

  8. 0:11 – This is a 2026 so the Premium trim is no longer the lowest trim level (aka Base). For 26 the Base trim has returned. So the base is now the base. Unlike 2025 when the premium was the base. 😀
