  1. This will sell well because of reputation and brand name, but it’s hard not to feel like the CR-V, CX-50, Tiguan, even the Equinox blow it away

  2. I was always on a Toyota guy and then I got an outback last year. I’m tempted to go back but the fit and finish of the outback is outstanding. The materials are definitely a step up. Disappointing that the RAV has all that plastic. In the end, I think the outback is the keeper.

  3. I hope 2027 is a redesign! This one looks like the engineers designed it blindfolded!! This one doesn’t even look like the “RAV4” design!

  4. I’m looking at a RAV4 and noticed some differences between your reviews. This model has Trail/Snow buttons and traction control where your other video showed "poverty buttons." Is this an XLE Premium? If so, did it require an add-on package to get those specific controls? Or is this video featuring a different trim level?

  5. Thank you for this. I am anxious to see what happens with the Android Auto problem you mentioned. I love the car, but I am really disappointed with the multi-media stuff as it relates to Android Auto. I have it set up, it works, then the next time I turn on the car, I have to deal with the settings all over again. And I also have been trying to use AA with a cable, but I have the same trouble. Other than that, though I have been really pleased with the newer model (I had a 2022 Rav).

  6. People comment about cheap plastic interior. Could that be a safety feature? Hard surfaces don't give like a flexible surface. If I'm going to hit a surface, I would rather it be a somewhat flexible surface. Rather fall on grass than concrete.

  7. what’s different between the XLE and SE? i want spare tire, fabric seats (not leather or plastic!), moon roof, white color and AWD. That’s it.

  8. The 2019–2025 RAV4's ergonomics have always felt slightly off to me, and unfortunately, this latest generation seems to give the same.

  9. Rav 4 seems so temping with a really cool exterior look and such reliability and fan favourites, but i just DON'T UNDERSTAND why they have the most HORRIBLE ATROCIOUS internal design!!! Holly crap!!!
I've never seen a more ugly internal car than this one!! With the boxy and jaggered lines everywhere! Bits sticking out and protruding! Nothing has a beautiful aesthetic and flowing lines throught!!it's like they tried to make it on purpose the ugliest clunkiest design ever!!
And i really HATE how the gage monitor is all just stuck there completely unaestheticly shoved into the area with zero design and thought!! I hate how because it's not covered it is now much more exposed to light from all directions disrupting and glaring the screan so it majes it 10× more difficult to read!!!

To me, in the end, i just feel there are too many flaws in this car so i just can't!! It would irritate the sh/t out of me!!
And it's a shame! I initially loved the rav 4. But they keep sticking to this boxy clunky and atrocious design inside that i just can't get over!

  10. Aside from cheap interior materials and the lack of physical switchgear, this is a solid buy and probably one of the most reliable new cars you could own. People knock the complexity of a hybrid powertrain, but Toyota has been building the Hybrid Synergy Drive powertrain for over 20 years. An under-stressed Atkinson cycle engine coupled to simple electric motors via a robust planetary gear set transmission. Nothing is getting overworked; no money shifts or blown turbos, or blown head gaskets here. Just punch the throttle and get up and go, and save some expensive dead dinosaurs.

  11. I see why many are saying they prefer the previous gen's interior materials. As far as the intermittent automatic connection to Android Auto and Carplay that plagued the previous gen for years as was never fixed, I'm already hearing the issue STILL exists! Coming from a 2021 Tesla that had a 100% Bluetooth connection rate, this is shocking.
