Should you just buy the Q3?! 2026 Audi Q5 review

Automobiles

The Audi Q5 has always sat in the middle of the brand’s SUV line-up as the one that doesn’t make parking difficult (Q7) and isn’t cramped in the back (old Q3). So is it the one to buy? Join Tim Rodie for an in-depth review of the latest Q5, here in PHEV form. He talks about the tech, the looks, the driving experience, the annoyances and moreโ€ฆ

  1. Well the Q3 dont have quattro on the hybrid which is why it goes longer I guess (same with Cupra and Tiguan from VW family). And livin in the north quattro is rather nice to have really. More things to which for..get rid of the shiny black plastic please and reduce number of screens..Besides that your jacket was supercool so may I ask where you got it?๐Ÿ˜Š Also good review..however how good is the B&O really? I have a Q3 from 2021 today with Sonos..so is it better?

  2. Actually, I don't understand why plug-in hybrids need fast charging. I would never pay for public fast charger when I can just put fuel in. Public fast charging costs more, takes longer and often has longer queue too. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Pathetic review of a pathetic, unreliable heap of junk. The interior is a mess, probably designed by Stevie Wonder while plastered. Cheap interior, no buttons, cheap plastics etc – on par with Dacia. Junk.

  4. I have the previous generation Q5, brilliant car with lots of proper dials and switches. Unfortunately, reading the owners forum, the early adopters of this new model from the UK, and other countries, seem to be having numerous problems, mainly warning lights, infotainment system and steering issues. A lot of the buyers are either getting to know their dealer service departments well, or actually having to return their 'unfixable' cars. Not been very well received up to now.
