  1. Amazed that some of these have clocked up 70k miles! I drive 5 days a week for work & barely do 4k miles a year. Where are these people driving? Aren’t EVs meant to be mostly for local runabouts? If I had a house & a driveway, I’d get one. 😢

  2. Please don’t buy Hyundai Ioniq 5, Genesis GV60, Kia EV6 and any cars built on top of E-GMP platform! They ate plagued with ICCU issues!! You will never know when your car going to die on you and if it fails out of warranty it will cost nearly four grand to fix it!!!! Buyers be aware!! It’s been nearly 5 years and still they can’t figure out why their ICCUs are failing!!

  3. Why are do many EVs have terrible boot space? I run an old X5 e53 and what does it for me is flat loading (no lip or drop step) and width between the wheels. Great for wide flatpack or DIY stuff, good for rolling in a mobility scooter too (a necessity), does such an ev of similair usability (suv or estate) exist in this price bracket? For example, the ID4 which someone I know purchased has a dreadfull drop.

  4. Just shows there are loads of very good used EV’s out there now at reasonable prices. The Genesis would probably be my choice in this list, as a friend has one and is very impressed with it (and he came from a top-spec ICE BMW).

Would be lovely to do the same review of cheaper, smaller EV’s. We have a lovely Black Seat MII (just like the one you had) as our second EV and it’s a spectacular little runabout.

  5. Thanks for including cars other than Tesla.
Plz point out EV from Kia Hyundai are suffering from bearing failure outside the warranty period. They are super expensive to fix. Never thought motor bearings would fail before the battery. Why they are building obsolescence into cars 😮

  6. Our 3 Twin Turbo diesel Saabs now 18 yrs old are coming to the end in the next year or two, after being bought in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Been seriously looking at ex demo 2025 Polestar 3, ~£45,000 and 4,000m, rather than the new price of £85,000. Not sure it will go 20 years.

  7. I just bought an ID.7 nearly 50% off the list price, 74 plate, the same price as a Passat but way more spec and much cheaper to run. Absolutely brilliant for a family car.
