  1. The small SUV market is more competitive than ever! 🥊 Here is our Top 10, but do you agree with our picks? Let us know in the comments which small SUV you'd buy with your own money. 👇

  2. Where the heck is the Renault Symbioz? Cheaper than most of these cars and delivers excellent fuel economy and great comfort. And it offers Google Maps, Google Assistant, multiple customisable drive modes etc.

  3. Great review of the key small SUV's of the moment. But please… do we have to have umbrella and ice scraper as the perennial things to mention for ALL Skodas. Really, they are not even on the radar for things to focus on. Well done, otherwise. Be interesting to do a review of car repair costs sometime. Prices for spares on new cars appear to be disastrous.

  4. New Seat Arona is much better than T-cross and maybe the most fun to drive car in the segment. If you have EV3, why not have Skoda Elroq which is better than EV3 in almost all areas. Why don't you say that LBX has less space in the second row than any car in this rating?

  5. If you do not test-drive them off road, they are almost certainly not SUVs. The standard of your English is a good match for the standard of your reviews.

  6. No EVs for me, too expensive and very poor resale values mean a definitely no, you seem ok with them, im not. The Puma to me is hardly an SUV more a slightly jacked up Fiesta. You missed out the Mazda CX30, fantastic, understressed and relible 2 ltr Skyactive engine and top class build quality.

  7. Why not include small cars styled like SUV's to get a greater spread in cost price and running costs – its not all about comfort and refinement.
Cars like the Hyundai Inster and the Dacia Spring – you can still buy a brand new Dacia Spring 65 for under £10k.

  8. Guys i follow your channel for years and i usually root for your reviews but this top 10 is just disappointing. How you rank as no1 a car that is mhev and still has a very huge consumption in town, which yes is refreshing but still doesnt even looks nice, is close to the c suv size, also rank puma (rly?) inside the top 10 and you totally forget to rank yaris cross, skoda elroq, ex 30 that are all fabulous cars, massively awarded throughout the years. Come on you can do better than that!
ps. Mild hybrids shouldnt exist they just consume space for battery, increase the base price for what 0,5lt-1lt/100km economy. Same goes for the phev. Full hybrids or electrics should solo this list!

  9. Went to test the t-roc, the kamiq, q2 and Arona. The Seat Arona was the best option price, comfort, driving, visibility and options wise. Surprised it’s not in the top 10

  10. Where is the Toyota Yaris cross and Renault Captur and Suzuki Vitara and Vauxhall Mokka and mg ZS and Peugeot 2008 and Hyundai Kona and seat Arona and Toyota CHR and kia Xceed and honda HRV and Hyundai bayon and dacia Sandero Stepway and Suzuki s Cross and fiat 600e and vw Taigo and kia Niro and Suzuki E Vitara and mini Aceman and jeep avenger and jeep compass and subaru Crosstrek and mazda CX30 and byd atto2 and Toyota urban cruiser

  11. If reliability and good warranty (10 years) matter then the Suzuki Vitara or S Cross are worth a look, plus you can get AWD which most don't offer. Plus millions live in terraced housing with no off road parking and no reserved space kerbside (like my brother-in-law) so despite the hype EVs don't work for them having to rely on public on public chargers at 20% VAT.

  12. Paid commercial: Be smart and don’t waste your money on 3-cylinder grinding machine motors with terrible resale value. They’re just trying to trick you into buying one because their sales are dropping.

  13. How can you recommend the Ford Ecoboost engine? Wet belt disaster waiting to happen. I think many people would welcome more thorough information about engine reliability in car reviews.

  14. This is hilarious. You need to talk to your channel mate who also came to the same conclusion on what is No.1 – the most unreliable car you can still buy new.
