Nice car, but the insurace are very high due to the fact that this was very oft stolen !
For f-sakes. All this guy does is sook and everything is “awkward” to him. You are not a vehicle reviewer, you are a complainer.
Get Mazda cx5 turbo better then this bullshit price
No absolutely dump
Lexus is good car but design 😂😂😂maybe BYD design 100% better than Lexus
recently test drove nx450h plus- nice car, fast enough ,well screwed together but when got back into my 12 year old GS450h said GS is better I'll keep my GS !
New generation Rav4 means a new NX wont be far behind.
Die Übersetzung ist eine einzige Katastrophe 👎
Totally agree with you about large screen distraction its like having a large flat screen TV in your car WTF 🙏✌️
What oil do you use
0 to 60 in 7.7 is underrated. Why? Same drive train as the RX 350h that does it in 6.7 seconds. The NX is roughly 300 lbs lighter. Do the math.
Shame there is no V6
RULEZ LEXUS
F Sport is a better choice than Sports Luxury. It has adaptive suspension which improves comfort and sport drive experience.
Thanks Brett, great review as usual. QUESTION: How would you rate this against the 'just superseded' Subaru Outback – the good looking one, not the fridge-on wheels they've recently released. They both have the CVT with 4 cyl turbo but hybrid on Lexus so, of course, Lex will use less juice. I'd rate Lexus and Subaru equal inn quality and reliability, based on my experience with both but very interested to hear what you think re packaging, handling and performance, in a sentence or two. Cheers, Brian.
I really thought it would be a tad quicker and brake shorter. Do not know why I think that though.
Am I being unrealistic and this is actually pretty good? So out of touch. 🙄
This or a model Y?
The PHEV version worths more than this regular hybrid if you can charge it at home. At least when the petrol price skyrocketed like nowadays, you have a plan B.😂
Beautiful car. Long waiting list though but that's understandable. The Chinese cars have nothing on Toyota or Lexus.
eCVT puts a red line through the NX for me.
With new RAV4 just about here, this is overdue for an update. Apparently in 2027 but from ideas shared, it will lose buttons and run a big touchscreen, right when people are over that to control functions and find it dangerous to live with (typical lagging Japan). They are such a nice, boring well made vehicle that does everything right, I like the looks of the F Sport in blue, still now they look fantastic, just need that tech updated and not have a screen the same as a base Camry. Especially the money Lexus want for a Toyota when Toyota is now overpriced and catching up with Lexus – what happened to the big seperation! Great review Brett, as always.
Total volume when you fold down the seats is down on rivals but I don't think that is due to the battery pack. I think it is a function of the point you made about the size and shape of the rear seat area isn't it. It is smaller.
beautiful car, test drove a 2023 model a few weeks ago, interior felt a bit cramped.
Thanks, mate. Our friend bought the same model in 2023, and they are very happy. Although they had to buy the demo model because of the long waiting time. Not sure about now.
I just don't see where the value add is versus a Tucson or Sportage hybrid, they top out around 60k. Is the trim a bit nicer? Yeah…but it's not $25k better.
Word is starting to get around about toyota and Lexus slipping in quality and we're seeing a lot of loose interior panels which is kind of indicative of a lowered standard. That coupled with their finance chief becoming next ceo screams further cost cutting and dodgy product. So totota's history of quality may be just that. I hope I'm wrong because at this point who's there to fill the gap if you want a solid made vehicle with the ability to hit 400k with just basic maintenance 🤷♂️
FWIW my fuel economy has averaged 6.0 litres per 100km over 24,000 km so far, on regular gas, in my 2024 NX350h in four season Canadian weather.
CVT nah no thanks , why they make them i don't know.
does it have laminated front and side glasses 🤔🤔🤔
The glass house seems too small, almost claustrophobic. I don't know what Toyota are doing at the moment, The new Toyota Crowns are the same in Japan as well. Very high dash with a small envelope of a windscreen. The joy of driving a Subaru afterwards is so refreshing with their big windows, and airy cabin.
I must be getting old. I like it.
