I scored a 2010 q5 with a misfire on 2 cylinders for $1200 over the summer
I loved my 1998 CRV. Bought new and drove it 18 years and sold to friend. Best car I’ve ever owned.
I love this so much because it reminds me of myself..I’m just gona do 2 things and I’m done..30 things later..I might as well do that too
This is a cool video. Personally id just buy a jdm b20. Lol and change it out in 3 to 6 hours haha but thats pretty boring content
PERFECT 🎉🎉🎉 I own honda and have a honda mechanic , and you , sir , do it proud.
Looks like this car, owned by a mechanic, followed the usual "the cobbler's kids have no shoes" theme. He knew just what to ignore and keep running it.
Way too much blabbing…I'm out.
I had a 2001 Honda CR-V that never gave me a single days trouble.
I love Hondas and I love working on cars. This is much deeper then I have dove but you inspired me to take the leap into deeper waters. Thank you for the informative and fun video you made. I look forward to seeing more of your content.
If it was manual it would be 2 times as good 👍
Don't forget to set your valve lash on those Hondas
really good educational video, i learned more than most automotive videos ive watched
If you want to know about Yamada, ask Yafada.
Great video
I couldn't stop watching till you got that vehicle to the finish line! Great work and video! I would love to drive that!
I love this!! ❤
Yeah, I'll take that Honda.
The first generation crv is notorious for burning valves because the valve lash is too tight
Nice
Cool vid, lot of good info
Gotta love a beater vehicle.
70% chance.
So satisfying to see you go through the entire engine nut and bolt and gasket. I love it.
why are you doing giveaways at all if you require people to buy from your website you may as well just admit Your selling your car because you would never pick a random person to win it you're going to pick the person who spent the most money in your store to win it with a catch I'm sure When I do giveaways it's not Based on points or anything you buy it's a legitimate drawing with a legit win no strings attached This is why I never buy from anyone on YouTube that says win a car free giveaway with purchase how is that free your buying product to never win anything Prove me wrong let's see you give away a car/truck with no strings attached
Thank you for rescuing this beautiful CR-V. I have one I rescued as well and I love the table man. YES!
Great video I got popped up on my list.
And I am happy I did watch it .
Keep a great video
his videos are so inspiring that a man gets the will to pick up a rachet and fix my own car
Humblest machanic ever !! You can literally tell he has a passion for cars and people! Keep up the good work my good brother 🙏🏾🤘🏽
let me give you some help for cheap parts.
1. Kia soul 2013-2016 use the same old throttle body if you go to the dealer ship the part costs 999.00 if you get the same part from a hyndai forklift yep same throttle body connections and engine the part is only 80.00 you pay 999.00 at a dealership for the kia stamp on the part.
2. Old Jeeps. wagoners and older jeeps usually fail Emmisions testing to fix this problem dont go looking for the 300.00 jeep catalitic to fix your exhaust problem go and by the universal GM one for 80.00 it fits and works with the jeep and gets the car through emmisions testing.
3. Dodge trucks throttle body sticking this is a common problem with hemi based dodge trucks you have to replace the throttle body which is cheap as chips online 60.00 to 80.00 depends on the manufacturer but then you also have to replace the throttle pedal censor as well. usually 124.00 to 50.00 depends on year.
4. Ford trucks: just run and run fast. stupid things like the 5,000 a piece replacement headlight because they glued backup sensors into them is stupid as hell then the car not running because the backup sensor has died 10,000 for the headlights then labor and the computer reset will cost you 5,000 more total 15,000 for headlights
My boy turns 15v next month. A CRV is on my "first car" list for him. A mixed blessing if he doesn't get it since there won't be anything to fix on it and he needs to learn!
I would agree you can still find some deals if you don't mind some work. the past year I've bought
-2001 Sebring 119K miles clean title ($1400) needed a power steering pump and valve cover ($300 in parts and no issues)
-2001 Toyota solara 177k miles salvage title ($1200) needed valve cover, belts, intake gaskets ($280 in parts). I did have to pay $400 to get the A/C fixed.
Lived in Korea and Japan for 10 years….its normal for GIs to drive reliable but old junk due to practicality, taxes, import laws, language barriers…. I always keep a 10+ year old beater in my fleet back in the states….this particular Honda was a favorite for families
Yamada Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a key supplier to Honda Motor Co., Ltd., producing components like water pumps, steering columns, and drive shafts, with Honda holding a significant stake in the company. This long-term partnership includes substantial manufacturing support and, in some cases, 山田製作所 provides aftermarket parts for Honda
I sure did love this video. I like older CRVs
I’m surprised how …not good the EcoFlow was. I thought they were the top brand
I’m glad you came back to cheap builds. I had to tune out, because as fun as they are, they weren’t relatable, and every YouTuber goes to luxury cars. It gets old
u could have cleaned and reverse flowed that injector with that exact machine u have XD i have the same one and it works great
Great job!
Alex, I'd love to see you do a series on a Honda Fit. They're awesome little cars, if a bit slow.
Just found this channel. Thanks for the patience on fixing the engine. Learned something today
@legitstreetcars I love the videos keep up the great work 🦾
Nothing you can’t fixed
I would enter to win the CRV in a give away.
magnific
there's no such thing as a beater. when it comes to legit streets and Alex. he will bring it back to life🎉
