  1. Same safety eyeballs in other Toyota and Lexus that I recently drove. Can't turn it off or cover the thing. Deal killer for me. I liked the rx 500h but that thing was so fucking annoying I passed.

  2. I see Toyota caught up to what Volvo did with the XC90 a DECADE ago.
    4 cyl hybrid
    400 hp & 472 lb-ft of torque
The more recent one has 455 horsepower and 523 lb-ft of torque.
    Why compare?
The Toyota is 20-30k cheaper. I have an XC90 and honestly, I'd take the Toyota over the Volvo and it's unreliable setup.
I'm glad Toyota is finally giving us the power we deserve.

  3. I’ve had this trim for 12000 miles. The only negative is the gas tank because the hybrid system requires a 3-4 gallon reserve. So actual useable range is only around 300 miles. I can concur it is pretty good in the snow with stock tires. Great family car for those who want a little more power, or not a minivan. Though there’s a chance the non max hybrid might be the sweet spot. More range, less money, proven hybrid system. But we love the amenities in the top trim. Including the pano roof, rear view mirror camera, heated and cooled mid row, and of course the power. Mine hasn’t been stolen yet 😅 we keep our keys in a faraday box, so they have to work a little harder.
