If you want to save 12 minutes, the "killer feature" is a built in booster seat for little kids in the back.
Booster seats mean no heating on back seats, so it depends what do you prefer. Also, proper child seat is much safer than booster in case of accident. Having kids myself I decided to get heated backseats rather than boosters. This is good option for occasional rides, especially on short distances or… for TAXI 😉

I’m on my 3rd xc60. Volvo only. My neighbor had an Acura nothing wrong with Acura for several years and then he bought another one. I kept telling him you should try a Volvo. So he went and drove a Volvo XC 90 loaded to the hill and came home with it. I asked him what he thinks. He said I should’ve listened to you a long time ago. I made the right decision.
We turned in my wife’s leased 2023 xc60 B6 for a 2025 T8. The powertrain is amazing. So smooth and quick. We charge every night and use gas only on longer trips. We got it right before the $7500 govt refund expired. That refund plus Volvo incentives made the T8 only slightly more expensive than a comparably equipped B5 and it drive so much better.
That launch is going to be differ based on whether you're in Hybrid mode (with the ICE not running) and in Power mode which minimizes the "lag". Also, turn off "Creep" mode for a seamless OPD experience. Harman Kardon/Bowers & Wilkins audio options should be mandatory! They are fabulous

As annoying as this family is, the car seems decent. The lack of Apple CarPlay is frankly ridiculous in 2026. Most buyers will own iPhones, due to higher net worth statistics proving this.

Great video. We just bought a 2026 XC90 B6. Couldn't get over Volvo's continued reliability issues despite being on ERAD3 so the PHEV was out for us. These are also oversprung.
Like your wife, my wife really loves it, her favorite by far even over the Germans which have more refinement and better powertrains. My wife prefers the Volvo and the Volvo dealer experience, at least for us was TOP NOTCH.

Ok… that’s simply a classic car. Love the styling of this Volvo, but I have always liked their styling. Always crazy blind spots, but with all the safety features these days, like blind spot assist, it really isn’t a big deal anymore. Way expensive, but Volvo has always been expensive. I’d buy this one if I could. Thanks for another fun review.
