The 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland Is An Unexpectedly Speedy Electric Adventure Ready Family SUV

Automobiles

#Toyota was definitely late to the fully electric SUV space but the company is quickly learning from its mistakes and expanding their EV portfolio with the introduction of the #ToyotabZWoodland. Unlike the regular #ToyotabZ, the #bZWoodland is an entirely different model that is larger on the inside, more spacious inside, and offers more power and capabilities when you want to explore further off the beaten path.

  1. Yup, that Rooster 🐔 in the video was totally unplanned and the little guy literally kept following us around while we were trying to film this car last week 😅

  2. It's Toyota's first mass-produced electric vehicle, offering a spacious interior and a comfortable ride! It has a range of up to 252 miles depending on the model and comes with available all-wheel drive.

  3. No ski hatch is an insane omission in an outdoorsy-oriented wagon. Lifted awd wagons are quite popular in rural Sweden for both their winter-dependability and their practicality. Additionally, EVs are very popular in Scandinavia. This could have been a smash hit in a market that actually loves these cars if they didn’t cheap out on something as basic as a ski hatch or 40-20-40 split backseat. Fix it, Toyota!

  4. Why-oh-why do they have all that black plastic wheel well cladding – Nothing to "crow" about – Looks "cheep" – They really "clucked" it up.

  5. Almost ready for 1st I like this car's size, performance and impressive tech but worry about its range, steering wheel (same dash-viewing obstruction as current car) and headroom for my 6'2" frame. I regularly travel to Boston 550 miles away but this car would need an extra hour (2 x ½ hour) for charging. I'm still awaiting faster chargers.

  6. 4 seconds is crazy. it's in the same level as entry level super and sports cars back in the day. I hope there is a GR dropped version in the future.

  7. Many people complain that the StarTex/SoftTex seat material – because it doesn't 'breathe – causes people to sweat a lot. Not a good feeling.

  8. The rooster is awesome!! I actually thought that you planned it. 😂 I used to raise chickens, you’re in his territory. 😂😂😂😂

  9. The exterior styling details is hideous.Especially those huge ugly wheel wells. Makes it look front heavy. I've seen aftermarket application that look better.

@6:26 The reason it doesn't have tow hook is because it's off-road pretentious. By off-road Toyota means smooth and level but unpaved ground.

What exactly makes if off road? The fact that it's has a higher ground clearance? You need a lot more than that to be true off-road.And the fact it doesn't even include a spare tire really makes it not a true off-road vehicle.

  10. that black cladding really looks bad, why are they not fixing that? imagine painting only the front black cladding with body color would make this car looks good 10x

  11. If Toyota works on improving electric motor with the efficiency of Lucid’s or if it adopts the axial flux electric motors they could have the 350-400 mile range most would want. Impressive acceleration though.
Electric vehicle purchasers have high standards.

  12. Lots to like about this vehicle but some seriously strange choices. Small battery, No glovebox, No spare tire on a vehicle marketed for outdoor folks, so not likely going to be sold beyond the burbs.
