Speedy Electric RX? | 2026 Lexus RZ 550e F-Sport AWD | Detailed Review & Tour

Automobiles

The first-ever #Lexus electric vehicle, the #LexusRZ was a pretty late and disappointing entry in the premium electric SUV space back in 2023. For 2026, the #LexusRZ550eFSport promises to add a healthy dose of performance and handling thanks to a new battery pack and more powerful electric motors. The #RZ550e is also the first ever fully electric #FSport model and while the #RZ550eFSport still has less range than its rivals, the base versions of the RZ now finally offer more than 300 miles on a full charge.

  1. Did you seriously say that Lexus should have driven the Hyundai Ionic 5? For what, to see how chintzy it is inside? I haven’t watched one of your videos in years, but I see you still say weird crazy off the wall stuff.🙄

  2. I think the reason why Lexus is keeping the RZ behind is so that it doesn’t cannibalize the demand for the profitable RX HEVs and PHEVs. There is so much demand for the RAV4 that building a better BZ isn’t going to affect the sale numbers, but the RX doesn’t have as much demand, but it’s super profitable.

  3. At 80% during winter I get 266 miles. At 100% during winter I get between 315 – 322 miles.

Summer time I get 366 mile range off of a 84KW battery with 800volt tech. Genesis did right.

This car looks premium and awesome but man even with the updates for 2026 it still sucks

  4. You "reviewers" ALWAYS seem to miss the point when it comes to range in this car. Two hundred miles of range is way plenty for folks who don't travel huge distances. There is also a version of this vehicle that offers three hundred miles of range. Additionally, you can now plug and charge this much faster than the order version.

  5. I test-drove the original RZ 2 years ago. I love it except for the unimpressive driving range and lack of premium interior design. Now, RZ550e, I would consider it if the driving range is at least 330 miles with Toyota’s hi-tech Yoke steering. I would undoubtedly choose the Audi A6 eTron Sportback.

  6. I think Toyota might be regretting splitting their EV focus with Hydrogen and ending up with such a compromised EV given the hefty discounts on the 350 and 'dealer milage' discounts on the 450.

  7. why is he complaining about a 0-60 at 3.9 seconds? there are many modern sports cars and sports sedans that barely get below 5 seconds🤦. ill wait to find this on the used market, can't wait.
