The traditional 4-door midsize family sedan continues to go strong and the latest 2026 #ToyotaCamry is still the best one available. With such a wide range of different models to choose from, #Toyota went all in on #Hybrid tech last year with every version becoming the #CamryHybrid for this generation. The #CamryXSE remains the sportiest and now the most luxurious version of the #Camry and when you wouldn’t be caught dead in an SUV, this is still the midsize 4-door to snag.

If you think midsize family sedans are dying, the Toyota Camry will prove itโs alive and well. Over 300,000 units in America last year and itโs pretty easy to see why this car appeals to so many people.
They look SOOOOO good in Nightshade black. The most sensible, practical, affordable, fuel efficient family car that looks like it could totally kick your ass.
Love it
Totally agree on the interior…looks cheap, shiny and what the hell were they thinking with this design. Interior colors are very limited for seating….fail.
Iโm in Canada, and I bought the 2026 Camry XSE AWD a month ago. Iโm 6'5". During the test drive, I noticed that the roof was low, but I forgot about it after a few minutes. After a month of use, that has become its main drawback, along with the seat not being deep enough. In addition, when the seat is moved all the way back, the telescopic steering wheel should extend a little farther to match the seat position. Other than that, everything else about the vehicle is perfect. I previously had a 2023 Corolla LE AWD Hybrid, which was a bit roomier because it didnโt have a sunroof, but otherwise this is a major improvement. Finally, I can confirm that the seat is quite firm, but what bothers me more than the firmness is mainly the seat cushion depth. Excellent video, thank you!
Nice. I just got one yesterday. XLE w premium plus pkg ..
NO POWERFOLDING MIRRORS IS CHEAP
the older camry looks better especially in the front.the new design looks so ugly in the front
Very sporty looking self sedan… Average buyers are over 50๐๐๐๐
If Toyota fixes the noise insolation, this will sell x2 better
Never change your intro music. Its so good
Can't wait for you to get the '26 IS350 and test out its real 0 – 60 and show us around it. Other people have already reviewed them, but they consistently make mistakes (ie. talking about ASC active sound control and thinking its the same as the F-Sport sound generator tube under the hood, attached to the engine intake) and don't take the time to show the features off in full.
50 grand out the door WTF
The seats in last gen Camry were also my complaint. I would choose a Camry soon as they soften those seats
Most of the doors on these Toyotas built on the TNGA architecture do not have a solid sounding thunk. I donโt think itโs a negative reflection on the quality of the vehicles, just that they lack the sound deadening materials that luxury brands offer, like Lexus.
a family car seems like an oxymoron.
Looks at home at Enterprise rental car
Once againโCamry has had to reinvent itself! โค
CORRECTION: The current (2025) Lexus ES does have AWD.
Toyota turned into Apple. Yeah it works yeah itโs good but they donโt care about their customers just getting money into their pocket ๐ข
TO MANY TRUCKS YES CAMRY B+ SICK ALL THESE TRUCKS
Gross
I rather have RWD.
Because it's a hybrid, it does not start the engine when you push the stock button? But it has remote starts? ๐
8th gen looks way betterโฆ
Itโs very nice! I love the red!!! I love the Camry hybrid
๐๐43k! Glad I bought my mazda last year.
โPotent accelerationโ LMAO
As a guy who tends to like "aggressive looking" cars to a certain extent, I really think this Camry is overkill.
It doesn't look like what it is.
I'd love to see a return to more sedate styling on some vehicles.
This car is expensive as hell too.
Thats a shame about your results for the highway range. Also, the seats would be a HUGE deal breaker for me. Its one of the reasons i wont buy a Highland Tesla Model 3. The seats are just nowhere near as comfortable as my 2019 Tesla Model 3's seats.
Id consider the Camry's competitor, the Accord Hybrid, or even the Civic Hybrid, but they dont offer them in AWD, and thats also a deal breaker for me.
Whack
Me personally if a car has hard padded seats ill throw the whole car away I wouldn't even buy it because that's where you sit for hours on end…… and for that price those seats supposed to feel comfortable come on Toyota what the hell
$44,000 bucks?!! Come on now, these prices gave gotten out of hand!
๐ Camry use to be mid 20 to low 30 top, now this dam car more Lexus price
Toyotas and the Chevy Volt are the only vehicle lines that I still like in 2026.. Everything else , including Nissan and the Honda line are EEEww compared to past decades… Nissan just killed the Versa model, which was the only one I liked in 2025…
The Camry is not bad, but for the price, Iโd rather go with the cx-50 turbo premium plus.
DO NOT buy the Camry yet! I have the XSE. It has too many defects, especially the assembly part, it's not worth the price. Wiper motor issue, loose sounds around the driver's side and glue issue on the headliner. Lcd screen connection issue (now a recall). Loose driver's door. Safety sensors only work 70% of the times even in clear weather. The XLE and XSE lcd is a joke it doesn't utilize the whole entire screen. Made in USA is still a joke. The dealers will give you the run around game. The engine and transmission are good. The speakers are shockingly good.

The current Camry's aren't as nice as a 2002-2006 for example, as far as ride comfort, seat comfort and quietness. These cars used to isolate and coddle you. Not the new ones.
I'm really tired of the 40 series tires on these cars…. harsh, harsh ride and potholes will DESTROY these.
Its a pile of techno junk.
The previous 3.5L V6, had 301 hp, and was a non-turbo and non-hybrid. This car is not better and way more complicated with way more parts to fail? A full EV would be way simpler and way better than this powertrain!
18:20 Might I humbly suggest not doing the 0-60 at a point on the road where the 25 mph speed limit is clearly visible ๐
We bought a '26 LE–mainly because the smaller 16" wheels allow the most comfortable ride and, as is mentioned in this review, I find the seats too stiff and lacking cushion, so no car is perfect but the fuel economy is 50 or so city and a solid 47 on the hiway. We have a few neat options on this trim like garage door opener, blacked badging and the up charged Super Sonic red paint–our dealer added tinted windows and 3 month free XM with the standard radio, which is okay in the mid-range setting. We do not need the AWD option because we reside in the deep south. After 3 months and 1,500 miles…this car is a gem.
