  1. The cx5 interior (2nd gen) used to be gorgeous and classy with wood, leather and silver panels, the new interior looks plasticky and cheap. What have they done?

  2. No HVAC physical buttons. No sale. No haptics. The steering wheel controls seem like crap too. WTF. Also… why does google need to be in everything. No thanks.

  3. I'll rebuild a transmission or replace an engine before I get stuck buying a vehicle with no physical buttons. I'll at least give them credit for the traditional shifter instead of the knob or button nonsense I see in other models.

  4. My theory – mazda deliberately made the cx5 bad so that their sale numbers drop for the cx5 so that they can stop production for it and claim ppl weren't buying it so that they can maintain their cx-x0 naming scheme

  5. I hate black wheels and much prefer machined wheels instead. I especially hate that black wheels are standard in top trim models for a lot of manufacturers.

  6. What a screwup. One of the best parts of our ‘19 CX-5 is the rotary dial. My hand rests perfectly on it without looking. I can easily scroll through all the settings while keeping my eyes on the road. Fast, easy, and safe.

  7. How can you redesign a car and not knowing what your customers loved about the previous generation??
How a big ass iPad is "horse and rider as one" ?? They killed the Jinba ittai philosophy.

  8. Either people will get over the stuff integrated in the screen or they won't and maybe they will bring back a few buttons. Alot of the new cars are going that route with everything in the screen. From my understanding it will be voice commands so you won't have to touch the screen alot. I personally loved the rotary knob because I hate fingerprints on the screen. Oh well we will see. Can't please everyone

  9. People that thinks the big screen is in will find out after the first freakin accident because they were playing with the screen as people playing with the cell phone while driving. The older folks are not going to like this either.

  10. The filming of this video made it feel like a back up channel. Great video as always but the quality you have shown in the past wasn't the same.
