Lifted Mazdaspeed3?! – 2026 Mazda CX-30 Turbo Aire Edition – Sporty & Quick!

Automobiles

The #MazdaCX30 first arrived in America back in 2019 as Mazda’s answer to the very popular Subaru Crosstrek. As expected, #Mazda did things their way with an available turbocharged engine and a spunky chassis that makes this tall hatchback drive more like a hot hatch. The #CX30AireEdition brings unique styling details and features with the availability of that 2.5L Turbo 4-cylinder, making the #CX30 one of the quickest vehicles in its segment.

  1. Upgrade to 235/50 falken aklimates. Absolutely transformed the car. Smoother drive, tighter turning, amazing grip. Single best upgrade for the car

  2. That mpg/range is awful. If this were a hybrid, with increased fuel efficiency while maintaining good performance, it would dominate the market.
Also, hate the fake analog dash. Either stay full analog or go full digital.

  3. GLC? Remember? Then the protégé. Then the 323. I had a 1985 GLC silver and black. 5 speed manual. No A/C. Clarion stereo. Mazda has been a good brand. I drove that car with a good vibe. It was built well. This is too small for me now. I'm glad to see the basics still around. 56,000 still think so too.

  4. I absolutely love this car. Obviously no car is perfect but this is as close as it gets to perfect.

You guys are lucky to get these powertrains. In my country we only get the 2.0l 156hp, 200nm.

I would add just like extra 20-50mm to the cargo space and rear sets.

  5. Such a small and cramped interior!
Gun slits for windows is also ridiculous!!
Hard pass ….and hard seats! lol!
I was a huge Mazda fan, when the last generation Mazda6 came out. “Rolling automotive art” was what I called it, but too many electronic gremlins to keep it…and since then, Mazda just seems to have lost its way. Sad😢

  6. I’ve had one of these as my second car for the past 3 years and really like it. Turbo premium plus 2023. Will surprise a lot of other cars off the line, and loves to ride the wall of torque, never feeling winded or stressed.

  7. My daughter has a 2016 Mazda 3 hatch with the 2.5L IRS 6sp and it's so much fun to drive. We put Michelin pilot sport tires and the handling is amazing! 160K miles zero issues.

  8. I love how Mazda doesn't feel pressured to update everything constantly. If more manufacturers did so, new cars wouldn't be spending so much time at dealerships.

  9. I have the first year CX30. Great little car, fun and economical. Perfect for one or two people.
I must admit I hate Hate HATE THE STUPID WHEEL CLADDING.. This is not an F150 rough and tough vehicle. I had the cladding painted body color and it looks much better IMHO…

  10. Very fair review; even mentioned the finicky center console. I went with the Mazda3 hatchback as it's lighter/quicker, has a black headliner, no plastic cladding & two more cubic feet rear storage over the CX-30.

  11. As the owner of both a 2016 Mazda 6 and a 2025 CX5-Turbo Premium, I will say these are great, fun reliable cars, but I strongly recommend upgrading the tires, switching out to Michelin tires, a got a set of Pilots for my 6 and it quieted the car down considerably and improved the ride without degrading the great handling. Intend to do the same for the current one later this year, looking at defenders or primacys
