  1. I've seen reviews saying its a pretty nice ride, comfortable, great sound system, looks nice, its quiet, but its a tad slow. Looks like its fast enough for city traffic for the 0-35mph around town. And its pretty reliable from what I've read. Interesting choice. I think as a daily driver, that radio and space would be great.

  2. How does a 4 cylinder with a hybrid and a turbo put out less HP than the Roque's 3 cylinder with no hybrid? Mitsubishi F'd that up.

  3. If they sell it for twenty-five grand out the door I could be interested. Till, then I will keep driving around in my twenty-year-old Accord.PS I have a Trans dipstick AND a cd player.😄😄

  4. Cannot believe were not allowed to have the only thing that works – a gas only engine with gears for a transmission. You think we can drive this normal at 130k like a 2001 Galant?

  5. Can you imagine, a basic brand using the world’s best audio companies, like Yamaha instead of Volkswagen or Ford using fake companies to appeal to teenager such as Beats and Sonos? Do you think Beats spent 30 years engineering tweeters to sound great like Yamaha does? Yamaha has billions in R&D.

  6. Interesting review, lots of comments from uninformed drivers..
It's Japanese made, which means improved quality inside and out.
It's for more comfortable than the RAV4. It's suspension is smooth, the 4 AWC is better than most. The 8.5 second 0-60 is totally adequate for an SUV. I had a a Volvo XC60 which was somewhat more poweful but weighed much more, so performance was similar.
Many of the points here were inaccurate. The reliability measurements were way off. they are mid pack, ahead of Honda and Toyota (admittedly, Toyota took a hige hit with their new turbo engine. They are otherwise solid.
The third row is identical to my 2022 Tiguan. children and pets only.. I used the third row twice in the couple years I owned it. If you drive 7 people regularly, third row seating requires a full size, not a compact SUV.
What the reviewers miss is that the floor in back folds flat and leaves 70 ft of loading room for when your wife leaves you for a sexier front end designed SUV.
I have mixed feelings about the exterior design.
Love the sides and rear treatments..The front is ok. But the headlights look like glass block from '50s bathroom home design..
I have grown accustom to it but I don't love it.
Outstanding warranty and solid real world mileage. 25/30 mpg is very good for this size vehicle and the interior is as comfortable and plush as vehicles costing $25k more.
The CVT rap is bogus also. The Rogue was primarily to blame for that but Mitsubishi has a different control module for its CVT that requires a flush every 60k..which gives many 200-250k miles without issue.
Overall, this feels more like a hit piece than objective.
As long as you get the 4 wheel drive and avoid the basic model, you get into it for low ro mid 30s, which is reasonable..
    I have only
driven non Turbos (which I prefer), but ignore the review and test drive if you are in the market.
I'll likely buy a '24 or '25, to avoid the new car penalty, but this car is light years better than my Tiguan I bought new (and quicker).
The seating in the Outlander is fantastic. I had to replacethe VW drivers seat within 10k and the second one was starting to fall apart at 40k .
The Japanese quality is far superior in paint and materials as well as quieter with superior sound deadening which accentuates its far better stereo.

  7. I just saw your prius gen 4 eco review from 10 years ago, because I'm getting one! That was a good review but when i got redirected to this video It's insane to how much you've grown as a channel and as a reviewer! Keep up the good work!

  8. Who buys these? I don’t think I have ever seen a Mitsubishi dealership in recent memory! I looked up supposedly two here in Orange County, CA – They may be out of business because they had ZERO cars listed – new or used!

  9. Under 200hp is a NO GO for me. Very nice vehicle but come on. Does Mitsubishi not know that here in America we have highways, freeways, and farm-to-market roads congested with vehicles? Cars like this with less than 200hp are dangerous. Not only will you not be able pass cars, but you'll also need to be strategic when merging unless you want to get ran over by other vehicles! Great for retirees, people that live and travel to the grocery store or pharmacy only and/or those who go out for Sunday drives, I guess. Won't be surprised when Mitsubishi goes the way like that of Isuzu from the U.S.

  10. One neat spec to mention is the old 2.5L 4 cylinder engine that the Outlander had from 2020-2025 was a Nissan made engine and was a very good and reliable engine but was GDI only. The new engine in the 2026 Outlander the (4B40) 1.5L Turbo 4 cylinder engine has dual injection GDI and MPI which prevents Carbon Build Up. This new 4B40 engine is based on the time tested and proven 4A9 engine and was heavily updated and placed in the 2018 to current Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. We have a 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SEL Touring with S-AWC that we bought brand new in October 2019. So we have had ours almost 6 and a half years and have never had a single issue. Its a good engine.

CVT – Mitsubishis Jatco CVTs are extremely reliable. You hear all this stuff about CVTs. Thats old news from years and years ago that people keep spouting. We have owned 6 Mitsubishis and 1 Nissan all with Jatco CVTs and have never had a single issue. They are very smooth, responsive and reliable. Just do the CVT fluid flushes every 30,000 to 60,000 miles (whichever the manual says) and the car will last you a very long time.

Mitsubishis are very very reliable and I can speak for that after owning 6 of them. My Dad and Brother own a 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport as well. They have been the most reliable brand our whole family has owned. My family and my self have owned Chevy, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Pontiac and Toyota. The Mitsubishis and Toyotas have been excellent. I will say I love my 2023 Nissan Kicks SR Premium as well and my Mother In Law and Co-Worker also bought 2023 Nissan Kicks SR Premiums. We all 3 bought them new in 2023 and love them. From the Mitsubishi brand we have personally owned 3 Mirages a 2015, 2017 and 2021. We owned 1 Outlander Sport a 2016 for 4 years. Then we have owned 2 Mitsubishi Eclipse Crosses both 2019 models and we still have 1. We never had a single issue with any. I remember being scared to buy a Mirage because the horrible reviews people saying they were junk, well I trusted my gut and bought one and they were one of my favorite cars I ever owned and the only time ever that I bought the same model again and in fact bought 3 times. If they still made the Mirage I would have bought another but they stopped them for 2024. It was one of the easiest cars to live with. Everything was simple and easy to access and if you ever had to work on that car yourself it would be a breeze. They were basic but had tons a features. Their 3A92 1.2L 3 cylinder engine is a super basic, super reliable, unapologetically rough and gruff 3 cylinder that is bulletproof. Just look up the 414,000 mile Mirage online says it all.

So if you are thinking about getting a Mitsubishi go for it. They are a Japanese brand with Japanese reliability and quality and time tested proven drivetrains and platforms that do not constantly change things up just to do it but instead use the same parts and drivetrains for years to come and tweak them overtime with reliability being at the forefront vs using the most modern engine designs to get better fuel economy at the cost of reliability like Toyota has done and it has killed new Toyotas reliability with their new iForce Max engines in the Tundra, Tacoma and 4 Runner its a shame for Toyota.

  11. I would love it if they used mitsubishi turbo motors or the turbo intercooled I-4 like the motor in the lancer ralliart it evo 1.8, 2.0, 2.4 and 2.5 like the good old days
